Name: Larquel no' Orchis
Age: 24
Race: D'Anlgline
Gender: Male
Appearance: Larquel is a well proportioned 6'0, with a cropped rose brown head of hair. A strong jaw frames a face that carries a nearly always grinning face, and bright green eyes. Larquel is energetic and deliberate in his actions, and pretty good on his feat, often from having been running away through the streets of Night's Doorstep. Otherwise, he has a well maintained body of any Night Court adept, tanned Ivory, mayhap a little dusty on occasion, but well maintained.
Personality: Larquel is one of those people that always finds the humor in any situation. And if he can't, he'll make it one. Prone to mischief of the first degree, Larquel is always looking to lighten the mood, especially those of dour ones around him. And he does best by not feigning his own amusement at anything. Always ready with a witty response or an oft comment, Larquel is known a fool by most save trusted friends. To those select few, he's a clever and caring D'Angline who'd put everything on the line to save a friend if they asked.
History: Larquel no' Orchis has no vivid memory of his parents. Orphaned at a young age, he was first actually found and taken in by a Tsingani family around Mount Nuit. He might have remained there in obscurity had he not gone with other small friends of his on a prank at Naamah's temple. He went to distract the merchant while his friends went to work setting free the doves used in the ceremony. However, they were caught, and Larquel was the one that got caught. Whether fate or chance, he was taken to the priest to explain his actions. Larquel didn't feel guilty except for being caught, and couldn't help but grin at the priest. But if he expected punishment, he was surprised when the priest took a good look at him. At the age of seven, he had no marks, and was quite fetching. And his smile and humor was a beacon for his cannon.
As it was, he was taken to The Night Court, and the Dowayne of Orchis. It was quickly noted that he was in fact well inclined for the house, fitting the cannon. At first, Larquel was reluctant to join. But his family persuaded him, knowing that he could do much better than an adopted child of a minority in the city. It was the only day Larquel didn't smile, was when he moved to from his only home to House Orchis. He was fostered there properly until the age of ten, which by then he'd come to readily accept his future, and became dedicated to the service of Naamah.
But things improved quickly, and he prospered well in the house. On more than several occasions, he pulled jokes and pranks on all sorts of staff; tripping over trays of food, switching out oils, and hiding random objects from friends and peers. Often caught laughing on the floor at his handiwork, he took his punishment as a bittersweet reward. He made some friends and some enemies, but never earned their outright bitterness, Larqel was too hard to hate. His humor did mature as he grew, becoming versed in Naamah's arts, and moved from childish pranks to comedic satire to inspire others laugher. But it seems he would always have a child's free spirit.
As such, he attracted several regular patrons, and completed his marque in well enough time. His patrons always felt relaxed by his witty company and affectionate passion. He remains still in Orchis house, accepting assignations, but also kept in contact with his original family, and was able to help out with a livery service on many occasion, as a great opportunity to explore the city, and always to find new patrons to take on.
