I sat on a bench outside Eglantine House as I waited for Gregoire to arrive. I was from every angle demure and collected. My hair was twisted atop my head, and over my shoulder I had settled on a little white jacket with short sleeves. My hands rested in my lap and my eyes rested serenely on the road.

I was dressed in my finest, a pair of black breeches, tan doublet and a white cotton shirt underneath.
The carriage ride from my town house to Eglantine was short and I was there in no time. Monique had elected to stay home as she had not had an assignation in weeks and the last time we had spent any time together we had ended up in bed naked. With Annette new in my life I wanted nothing of the world any more and I told her that we couldn't have that relationship any more. Her response was less then favourable, but I left for Eglantine excited to see Annette.
The carriage pulled to a stop and the door opened, I exited and moved over to were I saw Annette.

I rose when I saw Gregoire, and a wide smile spread across my face. "Hello, Gregoire," I said, tilting my face up for a kiss.

I smiled and pressed my lips to hers, my arms went around her waist and pulled her tight to me. "Hello Annette." I whispered after breaking the kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his waist as he kissed me. When he broke the kiss, I smiled up at him. "How are you?"

"Well," I said pulling back and taking her hand. "Now." I added with a smile then began to walk toward the carriage guiding her beside me.

I let him lead me to the carriage; it was his way to take control. At his words I smiled. "I am glad," I said. "I have missed you."

"I've missed you too." I said offering her help into the carriage first then followed once she was settled. "What have you been doing?" I asked settling in after her.

"A lot of teaching," I replied. "A number of adepts are preparing to debut, and as such are learning dances to add to their repertoires."
