I returned home the day after going to Tabien's home, I walked home, as I had walked there. The walk was...long, but mostly because I kept thinking about things.
The night had been beautiful and wonderful and as I rounded the corner to walk down the drive to my house, I thought about where I had been earlier yesterday.
Tabien....
I touched my hand to my stomach, I had lit my candle and I had just spent the night with Tabien.
I sighed to myself, thinking as I walked...in time I would find out, in time I would know if I was pregnant with child.
