Name: Luc Bradamante
Age: 19
Height: 6'2"
Race: D'Angeline (Namarese)
Gender: Male
Home Province: Namarre
Appearance
Luc stands at a decent height of 6'2". His shoulders are broad, his chest well muscled, along with his arms from his always active life and love for the mastery of weapons. His eyes are rimmed with a dark brown -- almost black, while closer to his irises the colour lightens, with flecks of gray surrounding the centre. His eyes look as though they are always smiling, as his lips are almost always as such, his demeanor hardly ever conveying seriousness, unless it is absolutely required. If he is not smiling, then there is something that must have set him off, and he will most likely make the offender pay with an onslaught of verbal reprimand. His hair is not as dark as most his siblings, some nearing an almost black-brown. His is more an auburn brown, especially during the summer when he spends more time outside. His hands are calloused from his carpentry and strong from the same. His face is angular, and with the upturn of his lips and eyes, and the point of his ears, he looks almost sprite-like, holding a mischievous beauty about him.
History
Luc was born to Duc and Duchesse Michael and Sarah Bradamante of Namarre, the second youngest child and the youngest son of six children, followed only by his youngest sibling and only sister, Josette. He, only being into his second natal when Josette was born, does not remember a life where it was just the men of the family. Being yet another son, and with the only daughter born so close to him, he was often disregarded. Loved, to be sure, as his parents loved all their children, but he was not doted on, nor given a grand amount of responsibility like the eldest son. He was verey rarely in their minds as they had those others to raise when he had reached an age old enough to take care of himself.
His childhood was spent mainly indulging in his own whims. He did help around the estate and the lands, doing whatever was asked of him and learning the way of the family and how to care for the estates, like all his siblings had done. He accompanied his brothers in their activities, learning more from watching than he did from participating. The first time he picked up a bow, and aimed at a rabbit, his shot was true, and from then he thought he knew what he wanted to do -- to spend his time in the mastery of weapons. He would play with the other boys from neighbouring estates, learning swordplay from them, trying to master his craft as he grew older. It became his favourite activity to indulge in, making him very quick on his feet, and in mind, being able to react within fractions of a second, when needed. It also was the basis for his well toned body and, being constantly around boys, he developed a quick tongue as well. He was not one to partake in fistfights, especially when they were not necessary, but would rather send someone cowering, tail between their legs, with the fire he could spit from his ensnaring words.
Luc was not generally temperamental, usually being lighthearted and always having a joke on his lips. But, as he grew, and being so close in age to his sister, Josette, he often noticed how his friends would make attempts at her. These were the only times his anger would rise and he would ever put his fists up to fight. He was protective of his little sister, at so young an age, and knew all too well what boys his age were thinking. Of course, he could not stop them all, but eventually Josette, to his sadness, was sent away to the Temple of Naamah.
Luc knew that he would not be the son to inherit the estate, and knew he would have to eventually work for his keep, and so studied as much as he could from his brothers, his surroundings, and books, trying all different manners of things to see what he could find an affinity for, other than swordfighting, throwing daggers and shooting arrows, arguing, making jokes and stealing his friend's love interests, that would make him a decent living when it came time to fly the coop. During one of many such experiments, he discovered his love for carpentry. He found he could make any manner of thing out of wood, could carve any design into wood, and it was the one thing he could focus on for long periods of time. He found his calling. Around this time, Josette had returned from the Temple of Naamah, grown older and more beautiful.
In his nineteenth year, he found a carpenter in the City of Elua that gave him the option of apprenticing under him, corresponding by letters being sent back and forth by messenger after having met at a local fair where Luc brought his creations to sell. In this same year, Josette wished to go to the City of Elua, and, being the youngest, the parents indulged her, sending Luc and an elder brother along with her to make sure she kept out of trouble. This marked a new beginning for Luc, one of learning, and, with moving to the City, one of mischief, with new people to make friends with, and women to steal.
