Lunch for Two: Azriel and Isra

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I guided us to the door of Caisse de Pomme then opened it, leading Isra through first before following afterward.

"What do you think?" I asked as we looked around.

[Isra Varousse]

“Oh it’s lovely,” I said, smiling wide and looking around. “You chose wonderfully.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Good." I said leaning over and kissing her temple before looking for a seat. "What do you think, that seat over there?" I asked point to the one by the window.

[Isra Varousse]

“That’s perfect, I love being able to see outside while I eat,” I told him, giving him a wide smile.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Good." I said smiling and looked to the server and I motioned to see if it was alright if we could seat and he nodded in agreement. I placed my hand at her lower back and began to guide her toward the seat. When we reached it I pulled out her hair for her to sit, smiling at her as I did.

[Isra Varousse]

“Thank you,” I said, smiling at him as I took my seat, smoothing my skirts as I did.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I pushed in her chair and then came from behind her to the opposite side and took my own seat.
"What do you think you'll have." I said smiling to her as I looked around at the setting.

[Isra Varousse]

“I’m in the mood for seafood,” I said as I picked up the menu and scanned it. “Oh, the fish with tarragon and capers sounds good.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Mmm, good choice." I said very pleased that she had mentioned it. "I think I might enjoy something from the sea myself." I chuckled as I picked up a menu as well.

[Isra Varousse]

“I so enjoy seafood in the warmer months, it doesn’t seem as heavy to me,” I said, smiling as I set down my menu now that I had decided. “Leaves more energy for other things.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled.
"I'd have to agree." I said with a smile. "Though I think I could eat sea food year round if that be the case." I teased putting down my own menu as I looked at Isra.

[Isra Varousse]

I laughed softly. “I’ll keep that in mind should I ever look to fix you a meal,” I said, smiling.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I grinned, leaning onto my elbows as I looked at her.
"Do you cook Isra?" I asked with a smile, enjoying the image of her pregnant and fixing a meal in the kitchen. I smiled a little wider, thinging on how things could be...should be.

[Isra Varousse]

“I do,” I said, returning his smile and wondering at what he was thinking to make him smile so. “For as long as I can remember my mother had me in the kitchen with her, helping her and learning how to cook. She said it would help me find a good husband.” I laughed softly at that. “I don’t get a lot of practice cooking at Jasmine, but I help out whenever I visit my family.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I nodded with a pleasent smile, images still running through my head.
"I think you'll make a good wife." I said softly.

[Isra Varousse]

“Thank you,” I said, flushing softly. “I hope so.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Oh I know so." I said giving her a fuller smile. "I can just tell."

[Isra Varousse]

I was saved from having to ask how he knew by the appearance of our waiter. I ordered a glass of white wine and the fish then waited for Azriel to order.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"I'll have the white as well, and the trout in the butter cream sauce with shallots." I said smiling and nodded as the waiter left.
"So." I said smiling at her.

[Isra Varousse]

“So,” I echoed, smiling. I searched for any topic other than me being a wife… and a possible husband. None would come up.

“So…” I said again.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled softly.
"You look beautiful." I said smiling at her as I glanced at bits and pieces of her, enjoying her gown and the way it hung off her.

[Isra Varousse]

“Thank you,” I said, my smile widening. “Though I’ll be honest, if it gets much warmer I may give up clothes all together.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Hmmm," I said raising a brow. "Then I hope it gets a lot warmer." I teased, giving her a half smile.

[Isra Varousse]

I laughed and shook my head slightly. “You’ll have to come see me at Jasmine if it does, not as if I can go walking through the streets naked.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled.
"Ah, but it would a sight to see indeed." I said still chuckling softly.

[Isra Varousse]

“Well, if it gets much warmer you can come to Jasmine and I’ll walk around my room naked for you,” I said, smiling.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"I was thinking that you should come to my house and do that." I said smiling back. "I could read to you."

[Isra Varousse]

“What about your niece?” I asked, smiling. “Or would you keep me just in your rooms?”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Oh, I think I'll keep you for myself, let her get her own naked beauty." I teased, my smile going wider.

[Isra Varousse]

I wondered if his niece was actually seeing anyone.

“That sounds rather nice,” I said, smiling.
