Name: Hélène Sierra de Troyes
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5’5”
Race: D’Angeline (Namarrese / Eisandrine)
Home province: Namarre
Natale: 4th week of winter
Appearance: When Hélène was born, her parents had in mind the old stories when they named her, for even at such a young age she was beautiful. She has an abundance of blonde curls that spill down to her breasts. She eyes are a grey blue, set against fair skin and rose-coloured lips. She has a slim frame, but if her delicate feminine features didn’t make her gender obvious, her curves do.
History: Hélène, also known as Elle, is the second child born to Jacques and Geneviève de Troyes, the lord and lady of Troyes-de-Mont in Namarre. She has two siblings, Éric who is twenty and Susanne who is fifteen. Because of her close age with her brother, the two shared many experiences. When Éric travelled to Tiberium to study, Hélène went with him, their parents wanting their children to have someone to rely upon in their travels. After taking a side trip to Menekhet for a month after a year in Tiberium, Éric and Hélène returned home when she was eighteen.
Hélène is a bright young woman, and is fluent in Caerdicci, Cruithne, Hellene and Menekhet. From her Eisandrine mother, Hélène inherits a beautiful singing voice and a soothing hand. From her father she inherits a great passion for life. She has a steady head, and tends to be quiet as she soaks it all in. Though the modest young woman would have never admitted it, with the exception of the cloth fair held every summer, life in the sedate Troyes-le-Mont was a little too pastoral after her travels. Her mother saw this and had Jacques write to the Queen and ask about different positions their daughter might be interested in.
And so Hélène has travelled to the City of Elua to become a lady-in-waiting to Queen Sabrina. The two are distantly (and a little convolutedly) related. Sabrina’s father, Louis de Vermandois had a younger brother Roger, who married Avril, Jacques’ younger sister. Jacques actually introduced Roger to his sister, having known him from both of their time in the military.
