First we went to a jewelers and picked up a pair of gold bands, something simple with quick ingravings on the inside; Beloved Aza and Beloved Del.
Once we had them we took the carriage to the Temple of Elua.
"Be welcome." A male accolyte of Elua welcomed us with open arms and a smile.
"Thank you." I said bowing my head a little to him. "We wish to marry." My grin was fair splitting my face as I spoke the words. The accolyte grinned and nodded.
"I'll go speak with the Priestess, please, enter and be seated." I nodded and guided Azabel toward the seats but had no desire to sit. I was almost jumping out of my skin with happiness.
"Are you happy Beloved?" I asked her, turning to her and kissing her cheek.

The realization that we were actually doing this had finally settled in as we bought the bands, and by the time we reached the temple my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
"So very happy," I breathed as I turned, my arms going around his neck as I drew myself close to him. "I cannot wait to be your wife, my heart. My love."

I pressed my lips to hers and kissing her, my arms tight around her body and holder her tight to me. It wasn't long before I heard a female clear her throat behind me. Breaking the kiss I turned to she a smilling woman in her forties, her eyes going between myself and Aza.
"You wish to marry?" She asked with a knowing grin.
"Yes." I said turning to her. "I am Prince Delaunay de la Courcel and this is Princess Azabel de Somerville and int he presence of Elua we wish to tie our hearts and lives together." She chuckled softly.
"Please remove your foot ware and come with me." She said still smiling. I released Aza and pulled off my boots, waiting for Aza to do the same.

I stifled more than one moan while he was kissing me; the excitement threading my bones together did nothing but make every kiss, every touch and movement intensified. When the woman appeared I was blushing fiercly, and I nodded as I gingerly stepped out of my heels, not needing to sit to do it. Once both of us were ready, I took his hand again and followed the woman deeper into the temple. "I've never witnessed a marriage here," I said softly, and the woman chuckled again as she glanced back.
"Most nobles marry at the Palace," she said, but where it might have seen as a sneering comment from another, it was merely and observation from her, nothing more. "Many peasants come here. It is good to have you both here, as it is every other." She turned and took us to another room, one lit solely by hundreds, if not thousands, of candles, and I gasped softly at the beauty of it.

I chuckled a little glancing to Aza as the priestess spoke and smiled wide as we entered into the large chamber lit by candles. Aza looked absolutely beautiful with the glow surrounding us, her hair a lite like a halo.
On the far wall of the room there was an altar with an alabaster statue of Elua, his arms open in a welcoming fashion, his feet unshod with flowers at his feet. The priestess stood in front of him.
"Please, kneel." She said gesturing in front of her. I released Aza's arm and did as she wished, kneeling and clasping my hands in front of me before looking at Aza for any sign that she wanted to back out.

I kneeled beside Delaunay as we were bade to, smiling softly at him, my heart absolutely pounding. Love, excitement and hope threaded through me and I felt my smile grow some before I looked back at the priestess, catching sight of a knowing look of her own.
"Are there rings?"
Her voice was soft, soothing and happy, and I could only begin to feel my smile grow even further as I nodded, looking at Delaunay.

It wasn't till the priestess spoke that I jerked my head away from staring at Aza, I hadn't even realized it till her voice cut through my thoughts. I had been thinking about how perfect this moment was, how perfect Aza was, how perfect my life was becoming. I turned my head to her and nodded reaching into my breast pocket and fished out each one, handing it over to her. She smiled and took the rings before beginning the ceremony. She stared with a pray as she picked up an aspirger and began to spray water at us as she spoke. I looked back to Aza, not really listening to the words but staring at the woman that was about to become my wife. I grinned to Azabel as the priestess spoke and then annointed Azabel's brow and then mine. I only looked at her for a moment as she did so then returned my gaze to Aza.

The look on Delaunays face kept my gaze from going back to the priestess once he handed her the rings. There was nothing but love, absolute love, of happiness and joy, everything that I was feeling. Tears welled in my eyes as the water hit me and I looked back, trying desperately not to cry during the ceremony, not wanting the kohl that lined my lashes to run over my cheeks and make me look horrid.
But ah! Gods! I was so happy that I wanted to laugh, to hold Delaunay. My brow lined, I looked back at Del and smiled at him, knowing my face was reflecting everything I was feeling. I loved him so much and to become his wife, to elope in secret because neither of us could wait, was powerful. The priestess's voice paused and I realized I hadn't heard a thing she said; I tore my gaze from him, cheeks blushing as I looked at her. She bade us rise and asked us to turn to each other.
"Prince Delaunay de la Courcel, take this ring, and place it on Azabels finger." She paused until he took it, then turned to me, handing me Dels ring. "Princess Azabel de Somerville, take this ring and place it on Delaunays finger. As you both do, remember your love, your faith, your devotion to one another above all else. With these rings you will be wed, bound in heart, mind and faith, shall be seen as one in the eyes Elua."
I could hear the tears in her voice as my hand trembled, holding Delaunays ring. My eyes met his and I smiled, love in my gaze, on my face, bursting in my heart. I held my hand out for he to place the ring on my finger before I placed his on, my fingers shaking with the warm rush of emotions. "I love you, Delaunay," I whispered, my eyes never leaving his.

I grinned to Aza seeing tears breaking through her lids and unable to do anything but grinning like a mad man. "I love you too my Azabel." I whispered back.
"Prince Delaunay, do you take Princess Azabel as your wife, to follow Elua's blessed precept and to tie yourselves to each other for all time?" She asked with a grin.
"I do." I said staring back at Azabel and running my thumb over her hand.

My hands were still shaking as Del held them, shaking from nerves and happiness, but more than anything, from excitement at being his wife.
"Princess Azabelle, do you take Prince Delaunay to be your husband, to follow Eluas blessed precept and to tie yourselves to each other for all time?"
My smile grew and I squeezed his hand tenderly, my lids lining with tears that made his handsome face seem to swim. "I do, with all my heart," I said, my voice nearly a whisper.

I sighed, exhaling a breath I didn't know I had been holding. Her hands shook and I held them as firmly as posible, trying to steady her a little. I mouthed the words; I love you to her as the Priestess spoke the final words.
"You may now kiss and seal your love for all eternity." She said smiling to us. I leaned forward and kissed her.
"Congratulations." She said as we kissed. "You are now husband and wife."

I love you.
I saw it on his mouth and I repeated it wordlessly back to him, my eyes shining with love and happiness... but when our mouths met...
It was as if something in me melded, bonding to Delaunay. It was probably in my head, but I felt such a strong connection to him, something I never wanted to give up. Kissing him back, I made a soft noise in my throat at the Priestess's words, my kiss intensifying before it eventually broke. "I love you, Del!" I gasped, standing close to him. I reached up and touched his face, smoothing over his beautiful skin and when I did I realized my hands were steady now, not shaking and trembling, but holding strong and true like our love. "I love you so much."

I held her tight to me. "I love you to Aza." I whispered against her lips kissing her again and again before wrapping my arms around her waist and lifting her up before spinning her around and laughing gleefully. I finally let her down to the ground and pressed my forhead to hers. "I love you a thousand times over." I said before turning my face to the Priestess.
"Thank you, thank you." I pulled the purse from my belt and handed it to her before turning back and taking Aza's hand and pulling her away from the statue and hurrying back to the exit of the temple.

I laughed as he picked me up and twirled us, my heart racing within the confines of my chest. Married! Married to my love, the man I knew would always love me, would always protect me. I loved him with every last ounce in me.
Calling out a thank you of my own and seeing the priestess's smiling face fade behind us, I followed Delaunay out towards the exit, pausing only long enough to put our shoes back on. "Lets go home," I said, smiling widely at him, my cheeks hurting, my heart hurting from all the love I felt. "To our home, my husband."

I pulled on my boots quickly and wrapped my arms around her. "To our home, my wife." I said kissing her before holding her hand again and tugging her along with me, hurrying to the carriage to speed up home.
