I didn't remember much, I remembered taking the potion and then some voices and finally falling into a deep sleep.
The next think I remembered was waking on a table, naked with all sort of jars a fluids surrounding me. I was unsure where I was but it didn't matter, I was out of the jail.
I sat up quickly, after discerning that I was alone, but the momented mad my stomach churn and I turned to the side before wretching on the floor. I had hoped to leave without evidence of my wakefulnes but it wouldn't matter once I was far from here.
It was night, at least that was what I could tell from the darkness through the windows. It was probably close to dawn.
Good, the tincture worked as it should of.
I rose from the table slowly, the stone ground beneath my feet chilling to my already cold body. I had to get clothing and I had to escape. Beginning my search I found an old pair of breeches in the corner and some tattered breeches and shirt. I didn't expected to find anything nice, but what I found was barely wearable. Oh well, they would have to do.
My first thought was to find my way through what ever laid beyond the door of the room. But I had no idea about whom would be wandering about, or how many palace guards there would be. I searched the room till I had found a small window and I pushed at it to see the room was underground. Standing on another table I crawled through the hinged window and onto the cold grass. Glancing around I saw no one and continued to climb out.
I didn't know if there was a large amount of guards about but for the moment it was quiet, and more importantly dark out.
There were a few moments when I thought I was caught for sure but I managed to find my way into the west borough of the city, now found myself breathing heavily on the stone wall of some town house estate.
I grinned to myself, I had escaped.
But now I needed some where to stay and the only thought I had was of the woman who had giving me the idea to escape.
I had to find Sirena Shahrizai.
