Reina nó Eglantine
Age: 19
Race: d'Angeline
Gender: Female
Appearance: Reina is a rather attractive young woman, her blonde hair falling past her shoulders in a shining cascade of curls. Her dark chocolate brown eyes, almost black beneath her dark lashes shine with inner joy and her love of life and beauty. She is a slender and curvaceous beauty, her skin a honey colored tan as soft as silk. She stands a little tall, five foot eight to be precise, but her presence is never imposing.
History: Reina was once the daughter of a very well-to-do couple that had a little property with an estate and a decent income from a merchant business. When she was young she thought that her life couldn't be more perfect. Her life revolved around birthdays and presents and parties that her parents would let her make a small appearance at where she would get to wear beautifully dresses and stay up just a little later than usual before bed.
Then all her dreams came tumbling down when her family fell on hard times. Just after her eighth birthday they started to loose everything, the money, their home and all their worldly possessions. Her father's business even went under, and they were left penniless in only a years' time. Her father went to his business partner and begged him to lend him some money.
He said that he would give them what they needed, as long as they gave him the title deed to the house as collateral for the loan. It was all a lie. Her family was uprooted the next night and tossed out into the streets, the authorities who were present told them that they were trespassing and that they would throw her father in prison if they didn't leave the grounds. Her father was furious, but there was nothing he could do. All of their things were taken from them, he realized too late that it was his business partner that was behind all of it.
The scheming sod having made all of their deals go sour and had robbed them of everything they had ever worked for. After three months had passed, and many heated disputes over land and money her parents finally won some of their dignity back but there was nothing the could say or do that could buy their reputation back. So they said good-bye to her and handed her off to the night court. Eglantine took her in after discovering her love of dance, but she was heartbroken and tried ever so hard to get her parents to let her stay with them. But it was clear that they couldn't afford to support themselves as well as a growing young girl and so she went with the Dowayne of Eglantine to learn to dance.
After she passed through her adolescent stages of brooding and pouting she began to really blossom, both as a young woman as well as that of an excellent dancer. And as she began to really understand her talent and accept her success her work began to have a following, a small one at first, but something certainly worthy of notice and it pleased her. Her marque finally began to inch its way up her spine and by now it is a little more than a third of the way finished.
