“My mother speaks mostly of what her life was like growing up. Of the warm days when she would get up early and help her mother beginning preparing food for the day. Of going to the markets to buy goods, seeing her friends and going to a nearby lake where they would play in the water until it was time to go home for dinner,” I said, looking at him as I spoke.

I smiled softly.
"Sounds nice." I replied, my thumb still running over her hand absently. I'd almost forgotten it was there.

“It really does,” I agreed, still smiling. “I love the heat. I would love to know what it’s like to be somewhere it’s warm even in the winter.”

I hummed a soft response.
"I know what you mean," I said letting my hand rest behind my head. "Some where where the sun beats down and the water feels pleasant when you dip into it." I grinned at her.
"Now you make me want to go."

[Isra Varousse]

I laughed softly. “Perhaps someday we’ll go together and we can sample all the spicy food and search out a real tiger.”

I shifted sitting up a little.
"That would be phenomenal," I said grinning. "Do you speak the language?"

[Isra Varousse]

“Just a very little, but my mother would be willing to teach me more,” I said. “She’d teach you too if you’d like.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"I'd like that very much." I said smiling and letting my thumb glide across her hand. "You don't think she'll mind do you."

[Isra Varousse]

“I think she’ll be delighted,” I said, smiling.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled.
"Good." I said softly.

[Isra Varousse]

The carriage swayed a little as it turned a corner and my body shifted slightly closer to his in response.

“When would you like to start?” I asked, smiling.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I couldn't help but note that as the carriage moved so did she. I didn't encourage anything, but I didn't discourage it either.
"As soon as possible." I said echoing her smile. "I love languages but they take me a bit extra time to master then other things."

[Isra Varousse]

“And what are the things that are easy for you to master?” I asked.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled.
"I'm good with my hands." I said smiling and raising a wry brow. I know how it sounded but I couldn't help the jest.

“Is that so?” I asked, smiling wryly and feeling the playful glint in my eyes.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled.
"Like you I sculpt, but my medium is wood. I'm also handy with leather and I can shear a sheep if need be." I shrugged a little.

[Isra Varousse]

My eyes widened with excitement. “What do you sculpt?” I asked.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"Anything, everything." I said shrugging again. "Faces, animals mostly." I smiled at her enthusiasm. "What do you sculpt?" I turned the question on her with a grin.

[Isra Varousse]

“Animals,” I said, knowing I’d mentioned it before and wondering if he was just being playful. “What’s your favorite thing you’ve sculpted?”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"I have a horses head in my room," I said smiling. "It took me almost two years to complete." My thumb ran across her hand again.

[Isra Varousse]

I had forgotten to try and ignore the pleasure of his caresses and a little tremor moved through me.

“I’d like to see that sometime, it sounds like it would be magnificent,” I told him, smiling.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"I'd love for you to come see it." I said grinning a bit wider. "Its one of my most treasured pieces." I added.

"When I was living in Marsilikos I would carve items for money, something to keep me a float and a pleasant past time."

[Isra Varousse]

“That sounds like a nice way to make a living,” I said, smiling softly.

[Azriel Shahrizai]

"The best part about it was that I didn't have to do it for a living, I could just do it." I said thinking about my time in Marsilikos. "I could just work by myself, for hours on end, then read or take a walk, or go down to the tavern and drink." I grinned at her then.
"It was the best time in my life."

[Isra Varousse]

My smile grew. “It sounds wonderful,” I said. “Perhaps if we like Bhodistan enough when we visit we’ll decide to stay and open a stall in one of the markets. You can sell wood carvings and I’ll cook chaat and aaloo tikki to sell.”

[Azriel Shahrizai]

I chuckled softly at our make believe life.
"Perfect." I said grinning at her. "I can't wait." I wanted to ask about her marque, knowing that that was the biggest thing standing in the way of our possible travels.

[Isra Varousse]

“Me either,” I said, returning his smile. It was so difficult not to close the small distance between us, mold my body to his and lay my head on his shoulder. I wanted more, but would have settled for just feeling the shape and warmth of him against me.

I smiled at her softly, my body still humming as I tried hard not to think of her so close to me. I sat up a little more and turned more into her.
"When..." I cleared my throat a little. "When will this grand adventure take place?" It was a sideways question of curiosity about when she would be finished her marque.

[Isra Varousse]

My smile fell a little, thinking how long it really would be.

“Not for a couple years at least,” I said softly, my gaze sweeping down to look at where my hand rested in his. “I’ve still got half my marque to make and I can’t go anywhere until then.”

My heart sunk into my stomach. A couple of years, only half her marque finished....

I forced a smile.
"Thats alright," I said softly. "We'll go when your ready, that way I'll be fully versed in all things Bhodistani."
