Lucien de Clairmont
Duc de Siovale, Baron de Clairmont
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Height: 5'7"
Race: D’Angeline (Siovale and Camlach)
Home Province: Camlach
Natale: 13th week of winter
Appearance: Lucien is a good looking man, but in an understated sort of way. His brown hair is just long enough to push back with a hand from his widow’s peek, but not long enough to be fashionable. His eyes are a hazel with quite a bit of green, and between them lays a solid nose, slightly crooked from being broken. He stands at five foot seven, and has a more muscular build from his time in the army. He has a scar running diagonally on his lower right arm, and one running from his left buttock down his thigh.
History: Lucien grew up on the small barony of Clairmont, in the hills of Camlach. Though an only child, Lucien never lacked for company as his father’s side of the family visited often. The same was not true for his mother’s side. In the eyes of her family, Rosetta married beneath herself, almost as great of a sin as her cousin Sylvestre later frittering away his fortune.
But his mother’s family finally relented after they had decided Sylvestre wasn’t going to live long with his current lifestyle, and Lucien was sent to foster with Quinn du Paras and his family. In Siovale, he discovered his more studious side was considered perfectly normal. While he devoured books on tactics and strategy, he also found himself learning things in other areas at his kinsman’s suggestions, and all the new knowledge prompted a trip to the university in Tiberium when he was eighteen.
Life after Tiberium was spent in the military. His time in the sands of Khebbel-im-Akkad gave him the experience to put into practice all the martial strategy he had been so interested in since childhood and had never stopped learning about. He found himself as one of the general’s advisors, though a low-ranking one, having risen quickly through the ranks.
After the war he retired from active duty, preferring to teach strategy and tactics to new recruits and look after his estate after his father’s death in battle. Now with the recent deaths caused by the plague, Lucien finds himself in a position he had never thought possible, ruler over lands he wouldn’t normally call home. But he will throw himself into learning the land and its people, leaving his mother in Clairmont to look after the small estate.
