Hey Gang,
My life has managed to stabilize a bit though weekends are going to be spotty probably forever. I am going to make a gallant attempt to return to the board though. I only vaguely recall where my various characters were in plot lines and I figure I will explain their absence on the fly. I listed my guys below for those who forgot who I am to know and loath.

Hmmm, I could not find my FYI thread the board may have ate it with the changes. I did find this old one though so I used it as it seemed appropriate. As you can probably tell I am back in town. It shall take me a bit to catch up since I have been gone two weeks and have that pesky RL to deal with as well.
FYI turkey season was tuff this year. I was only on birds the next to last day of season. On that day I managed to flush the gobbler while trying to make the kill and that was that. Two weeks and that was the only day I was in the game. But vacation was fun and hunting is not all about the kill.

Hey guys for those of you who probably thought you had my schedule figured out the last week or so has no doubt been unusual. My work load has increased and that is a good thing as it is job security not to mention helpful for my mental health.
My son graduates from 8th grade this next week and he also took a job. He is working this summer at a Tennessee Walking Horse stable mainly cleaning stalls. In exchange they are going to set him up with one TWH trail horse. A nice trade and experience for a soon to be 14 year old boy. But someone has to pick and carry him.
My daughter is showing her mare in 4H this summer so that means the mare needs worked and daughter need educated a bit. And on top of that all I have still not been able to sell my old house. Thus I am maintaining two homes.
What all this means is Gene is still posting just when is sporadic.

On an update note. I am having a lot of problems meeting my commitments IRL due to my lack of sufficient time for all the things that are on my plate. I still seem to be managing to post regularly and as long as I can keep that up I will. FYI though I am not the sort to be sporadic as I am entirely too annal retentive for that.....I just drive myself crazy when there is something I perceive needs done and I am not getting it done.
If I reach a point where I do not feel I am meeting my commitments to posting I will probably step away. Personally I would not be able to deal with it if I felt I was leaving people hanging. We have not reached that point yet of course so all is good, but I wanted to leave an FYI in case I do reach that breaking point I did not want it to come out of left field and club anyone in the head.
