After a long day of riding, I stopped to take a rest. I was almost there, to Seb’s estate. I had been there once or twice, during our time together. We had begun to raise horses; fine, purebred Tsingano horses. It was a small business, but my only hope now, lest I want to start from scratch. With me, I carried a note from Seb, to his staff, penned during his final hour. He told me it would be enough, to get the staff to answer to me, and he handed me what funding he had on him. It had been enough to send a message ahead to the estate, asking the staff to have everything ready, and to have the paperwork finalized to show that the estate was now mine. Also, it had been enough to buy a sturdy Camargue pony, of which I now traveled with. I had taken a liking to her quiet disposition, and named her Eira, which meant snow. Perhaps I would use her for trips into the City, for she seemed to not spook easily and listened to my commands. For now though, I needed to make way towards my estate. My estate. It may not have been exactly like Seb and I had spoken of, but I was determined to make the best of it. I heard a crack of thunder rumble low behind me, urging me on, towards home. Towards a new life.
