Name: Aara de Stantone
Age: 22
Race: D’Angeline
Gender: Female
Appearance: Aara stands at 5’6”. She has long legs that make her seem taller than she is. Her slim body compliments her slim face and nose. She has pale blue eyes and honey wheat blond hair with natural dark spots. As a child she was always made fun of because of her long neck. Now she has grown more into it and that also adds to her illusion of being taller.
History: Aara is the daughter of a noblewoman named Marie and a retainer on her father’s estate named Philipe. When her father died he left everything to Marie and made her a Duchess. She married Philipe and together they run the estate. (Located in Camlach.)
Marie and Philipe had two children, a son named Henri and a daughter named Aara. Philipe never wanted to “waste” money on Aara’s education like he did on Henri’s so Marie taught her everything that she knew, from history to the arts of Namaah. When Marie had nothing left to teach her, Aara began to seek out knowledge elsewhere. Most everyday she would sneak into her father’s study and steal books. He never noticed when she only took one or two at a time and she always put them back in just the right place. She learned to sneak around unnoticed and was able to listen in on interesting conversations around the house. When she became old enough, she would runaway to the shelter of a library. She didn’t really have that much of interest in any subject, except history. She loved reading about great people of the past.
When Henri turned 18 he moved to the city of Elua. Aara was heartbroken because he was the only one she had to talk to. They were very close. She had surpassed her mother, and her father would never treat her as an equal. This was when she started pestering her father about moving her to the city as well. As her father’s wealth grew, she continued to pester him and when Aara was 18 he gave in and sent her and a handful of handpicked retainers to the city. She spent most of her first year collecting books. Her father never approved of her “wasting” money on them before but now he did not monitor her spending as long as she did not spend too much.
She has now been in the city for five years and they have been the happiest years of her life. She can often be found in the bookstore or other interesting places searching out books or knowledge. She visits her brother often and keeps in touch with her mother through frequent letters. Aara is a very outgoing and upbeat person. She is always eager to meet new people and learn new things.
