Name: Brys de Warrene, Duc de Warrene
Age: 30
Race: D'Angeline
Gender: Male
Appearance: Brys is far beyond handsome as he has been since childhood. Originally born with soft blonde hair it grew to a dusky sable that flows in soft waves, usually kept short (just below his jaw line). He is tall at nearly 6'2 and his form is beyond muscular perfection, found either working with his horses or training as a solider, his body is extremely well defined. His eyes are probably the most fabulous part of his face, a deep blue but often seen as brown unless you look close enough. Generally clean shaven but with occasional hair on his chin Brys has been known to make many women weak in the knees.
History: To understand Brys you must understand not only he but House Warrene. A long standing family from Camaeline, Eisandine and Anaeline descent, House Warrene has always been in good standing with the crown. Starting with his great great grand father, the Warrene's have been in every war, every struggle, and held some of the greatest positions while maintaining their excellence and dignity. That all changed though when Brys' father Toussaint and his mother Marveille were murdered.
Toussaint de Warrene was a Chirurgeon for some of the greatest families in Terre d'Ange including House Courcel, he helped build hospices through out other nations as well as gave to those that had less. A brilliant man, he was the best husband and father a child could ask for. Brys even grew wanting to be as his father was, a Chirurgeon. His mother the second child of Chavard de Vermandois was a kind soul and was never with out a smile. Prince Consort Louis de Vermandois' only sister, the marriage was arranged but Marveille never complained and always loved Toussaint. They lived a happy life with more then they could ask for (the Warrene Duchy being the second largest next to House Vermandois), they made a tidy living and their riches only comparable to the greatest houses of Terre d'Ange.
When Brys was young, only in his twelfth year, his parents and he were returning from a play at the Palace. As they were walking to their carriage they stumbled apon a fight as Toussaint tried to break up the young men they turned on him and stabbed him through the heart. In her rage Marveille began to scream for help and she to was run through with a sword. Young and scared Brys ran away and was spared a brutal death. Given into the charge of long time friend and seneschal Algernon, Brys was raised as best Algernon could and followed many of Toussaint's teachings. But Brys was stubborn, relentless in his search for his parent's killers, at the age of sixteen Brys disappeared and was found some time later on the Camaeline boarder. He believed that that was where his parent's murder's were and was determined to find that and exact justice. It didn't turn out as he would have hoped but he was correct about their whereabouts and eventually they were caught and hung in a private hearing.
Even though his parent's murders had been brought to justice, Brys still lived with the thoughts and torments that he could have saved them. Always believing that if he had stayed, or fought or even if he had not asked to go home early they would live to this day. He grew to a tormented young man. Officially taking the title of Duc at eighteen, he went to the University of Tiberium for two years before dropping out of school and returning to his family's seat on the boarder of Eisande. Spending almost two years in solitude, Brys read and kept to himself often disappearing into the mountain ranges for days at a time. Then, in his third year of solitude he disappeared truly.
Not much is known from his twenty-third year to his thirtieth year only that he came back in extremely peek physical form and versed in combat. Some stories have been told of that time, what is known as true is that he spent most of it training, some in Camlach, some in Caerdicci Unitas, and some from nations farther still even the nation of Ch'n were he spent most of his time learning martial arts. But never the less he has returned, though in his absence was declared dead, their family home was left abandon by everyone but Algernon and House Vermandois allowed him to stay in Brys absence. Now that he has returned (and missing much of the news that has permeated the streets and provinces of Terre d'Ange), Brys looks forward to trying to put his life together and perhaps even help find those that attacked King Ambrose.
