Name: Zahra de Agré
Race: d'Angeline / Menekhet
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Appearance: Zahra stands five feet nine inches. Her jet-black hair hangs in a straight curtain down to her lower back. Upholding the breath taking D’Angeline beauty from her father’s side, Zahra stands like a gem amongst sand, carrying the erotic exoticness from her homeland, Menekhet. Her skin shines in a constant tanned color and her eyes are a mysterious chocolate brown, so dark they almost seem black. Her eyes are always lined with the traditional charcoal, adding to her exotic aura. Often her hair is braided into small braids, gold jewelry intermingles with the stands of hair. Her lips are full and seductive and her eyebrows arch high as if to suggest royalty.
History: Granddaughter of the current Pharaoh of Menekhet, Zahra stands out amongst D’Angelines in the Terre D’Ange. Her exotic appearance, and continuing practice of Menekhet traditions seem to attract the stares of people around her. Her mother, Subira is the eldest of two children born from the ruling Pharaoh. Her only brother Manu, is heir to the throne. Raoul, the only son of a wealthy D’Angeline Duc, visited Menekhet in hopes to marry the Pharaoh’s daughter. The Queen approached the Duc, requesting that a marriage be arranged to secure an ally for the loaming threat of a war. When first they met, it was immediate attraction. The two were wed at once, under the condition that Subira move to Terre D’Ange with her husband.
Raoul soon was passed the title of Duc and not long after, there was an announcement that Subira was pregnant. Birthing Zahra, their only child, was a blessing for the family. Zahra was raised in her birth home in Siovale, visiting her other native home of Menekhet at least once a year. Raised proud of her ancestry, Zahra always dressed in the ethnic Menekhet ways and was educated in both the culture of D’Angeline and that of Menekhet. When Zahra turned seventeen, her father was sent to the Eskerria boarder to defend it from what was thought to be a light skirmish. The Duc rode out to meet the rebels in what was to be an easy victory, but the enemy surprised them from behind. Her father murdered by rebels, Zahra seemed to hold a grudge against some D’Angeline.
Soon after her father’s death, Subira decided to return home to Menekhet. It was expected that her brother was to be announced Pharaoh any day now, she had no connections left in Terre D’Ange, and the pain of her husband’s death only seemed to increase around his home. Zahra left with her mother, only to return weeks later to uphold her duty as Duchess in her homeland. Now the Duchy of a large Oceanside estate in Siovale, Zahra is a common sight in Terre D’Ange. Still upholding her visits to her mother in Menekhet, as often as she can, Zahra continues to live by her traditional Menekhet heritage.
Zahra is a woman of intelligence and mystery. Strong and trustworthy, she has made friends among court. Though rejected by some, for her differences, she continues to live a proud, yet humble life, lead by her unwavering morals and taste for the exotic.
