Name: Adah nó Valerian
Age: 17
Race: D'Angelline / ?
Gender: Female
Appearance: Adah is tall and slender. At first she seems to be all limbs, but she moves with an unexpected grace. She has long, slightly waving auburn hair and green eyes set under straight, dark brows and fringed with long, dark lashes. Her skin is pale, with a glowing, translucent quality that makes her lips stand out like a slap.
History: Adah never knew who her father was, though her mother, Sandrine, claimed he was an Alban soldier. She travelled with her mother, an itinerant seamstress, all over Terre D'Ange. They settled where there was work, and left when Sandrine, always a little unstable, got bored. One night, they stopped for the evening in a tavern. Sandrine overindulged and found herself quite unable to continue her journey that night, leaving Adah with no money and a very irate inkeeper, demanding to be paid, on her hands. Sandrine awoke to find a burly man raining blows on her daughter who stood trembling with eyes half-closed. When she demanded to know why Adah hadn't screamed or told him to stop, the girl replied, "I didn't want him to." Sandrine, faced with something she didn't understand, promptly dumped Adah on the Court of Night-Blooming Flowers the next time she passed through the City of Elua, and never looked back.
Upon learning of Adah's particular predilections, Valerian House purchased her marque. Patrons have since been intermittent: some frightened, some lured by the untoucheable quality of her services. Some of them give up, disgusted with her seeming unreachability, while others are spurred on, determined to hear the signale from her lips, no matter what the cost.
