"The trunks in brown go up stairs to my room, the trunks in green go to my study. The brown satchel has letters that must out out imediately." I barked my orders as staff ran to and fro settling things the way I wanted them.
I wanted to take a bath yet, but there were things that I needed to do. I would check on the store...oh who was I kidding. I needed a bath.
"Will you ready a bath for me." I called out to one of the maids. She nodded and went on her way.
While I waited I scanned the house, remembering the times I had visited with my family. I had only be to the City of Elua twice after the title was passed to me, and both times were quick trips to speak with our financial backing and search out store locations.
This time I would be staying for the season, going in to work everyday in order to make sure the shoppe was going well. Oh, and I had to find a shoppe girl, some one to help out occasionally, clean the store. All the things I didn't wish to do.
"Its ready Comtesse." I heard a voice behind me. How long had I been standing there, thinking to myself? No matter, I would bath quickly and be on my way.
I hurried upstairs, undressed and climbed into the bath. My mind wandering again. But this time my thoughts went else where.
"You need to bare us an heir." The memory of my grandfather's speach running through my head. "No matter what, you must give us a child. No one cares if you do not marry, but you are getting older and the older you get the less likely you will birth a healthy one."
I rubbed my skin over with oil as I sat and thought, thinking about the men that I might find here.
