Very much looking forward to Beltane, I decided to go out after my classes were through, knowing I had nothing else planned for the rest of the afternoon.
Spring had definitely arrived, and I breathed deeply in as I walked, eyeing the shoppes for what appeared to be the finest cut, but weren't too horrifically expensive. One place in particular looked lovely, and I made my way in, smiling to a clerk as I began to circulate.

My first fete in the city. I hope I didn't make a fool out of myself, some one would sure tell my aunt. I laughed in my head at the thought of the letter arriving and her gasps of disgust at my actions.
So I was here, searching for a outfit in colours I didn't usually wear.
I heard a bell as the door behind me opened and a lovely looking woman enter. I continued to shop though keeping an eye on her as I walked.

With Beltane approaching, the shoppe was well stocked in fire-colored clothing. I smiled as I moved through the racks, fingers feeling the fabrics and sifting through them. I glanced up from time to time out of habit, watching those around me as they did the same. As I glanced up the last time, I caught a handsome man looking back, and I offered a smile as I held out a crimson dress.

The girl who had entered smiled and me and I smiled in return taking a bold leap and started moving toward her. "Thats a lovely gown." I said offering a comment to break the ice.

"It is," I agreed, smiling a little more to him as I watched him nearer. "I was thinking of trying it on."

"You should," I said smiling and then searching through the items on the rack. "This one would suit as well." I added pulling out gown of a similar cut but this one was a pale orange.

"Oh," I said, giving a little flirtatious smile as I took the dress he offered. "Thank you, my lord. I'm Aurianne no Camellia, by the way."

"Aurianne," I repeated her name, tasting it as I did. I bowed deeply, one hand at my waist as I bent. "Damien Hughes." I replied. "Its a pleasure to meet you." I righted myself and gave her a soft smile.

"The pleasure is mine, my lord Hughes, truly," I responded with a matching soft smile, echoing his bow with a proper curtsy of my own. "Its not often someone offers to help like that."

I chuckled righting myself and clasping my hands in front of me. "It's nothing really, I just think it would match what I'm wearing better." I gave her a wry and some what cocky smile.

I looked at him curiously, my smile growing a little more. "Is that so?" I asked, wondering if he meant what I thought he did.

"It is." I said smiling.
"I'll be wearing tan and pale yellow for the beltane fete." I said running my fingers over the pale orange gown she was holding.

"This would match much nicer than a red gown," I agreed, feeling the ripple of his fingers on the cloth as they passed over mine, holding it below. "I think I'll go try it on, if you don't mind me breaking away, my lord," I said with a smile.

"Not at all." I said bowing slightly. "I'd love to see it on." I smiled happily having decided on a companion for the evening so easily. I wanted to insure I didn't end up alone at the end of the evening.
I hadn't yet picked out my clothing, though I had my colours in mind. So as Aurianne went to try on her gown, I would find my items.

I gave him a long look and a pleased smile as I turned away, then made my way towards the back and the dressing rooms. Once I pulled the curtain shut, I stripped out of my own dress and donned the pale orange one on, very pleased to see that it fit near perfectly already.
Stepping out, I looked about for Damien, and smiled at him as I stepped to the mirror.

I had pointed out the breeches and the shirt to a shoppe clerk and returned to Aurianne to see the gown she was wearing. "Well, doesn't that suit." I said coming up to her and running my fingers through the fabric of the skirt. "Very nice."

"Thank you, my lord," I responded, flashing him a smile as I watched him touch the fabric of my skirts. "You have very good taste, and a fantastic eye for cuts it seems."

My smile bordered on a grin as I looked back at him, nodding my head. "I would love to. I think an evening with you would be very fun indeed." I reached to his hand on my skirts, touching it briefly with mine.

Her hand touched mine so I released the fabric and held her hand in mine. Bowing over it I kissed her skin gently, letting my lips linger before righting myself. "I'm quite glad this has worked out so wonderfully." I said with a grin.

My fingers were light in his, and after my hand was warmed by the touch of his lips, I smiled softly, taking a half step closer to him. "As am I, my lord," I responded, giving his hand the barest hint of a squeeze.

Her closeness lent itself well to me so I took a bold move and bent over placing the softest hint of a kiss on her cheek. "I'd like to finalize this." I said in a soft hum as I pulled back. "Shall I send a letter to your Dowayne?"

"Of course, if it pleases you, that would be wonderful." My cheeks were high in color for the sudden turn of events and for his kiss. I touched his arm softly as he pulled away, a brush of my fingertips. "I'm really very pleased, my Lord."
I paused, smiling at him, before breaking the gaze to look around the store and back. "Would you like any help finding anything? I don't have to get back straight away, and you did help me find my dress, after all."

I smiled softly and touched my fingers to her hand and raised it to my mouth kissing it once more. I had to say I was throughly excited for the fete now, she was beautiful and kind, her eyes soft and her manner even more so.
"I'd love to have some help," I said smiling. "If theres enough time, perhaps I could take you to lunch as well?"

My eyes must have begun dancing by the time he finished speaking; I knew my smile grew as I looked at him. He was very kind, thoughtful, and confident. "That would be lovely," I responded, my fingers curling about his and holding his hand. "I'd definitely enjoy getting to know you better, my lord. Is there anything in particular that you're looking for in clothing?"

Her face almost lit up and I had to smile.
"You know what," I said pulling her toward me. "I have the breeches, all I need to a shirt and then we can be off." I pulled her behind me and guided her toward a rack of sun shaded shirts and picked out one of my size. "This will do." I said letting go of her hand to pay for the shirt and have it delivered to my town house. Turning back to Aurianne I smiled.
"Ready?"

I followed him without complaint as he tugged me along, then laughed as he turned to me, his objects paid for. "Can I change first and pay for this?" I grinned at him, standing infront of him still dressed in my new Beltane outfit. Gods he was adorable.

I looked at her gown and chuckled once. "Perhaps that would be best." I said with a half smile, feeling a bit gleeful at the situation.

I flashed him a pretty smile as I made my way back to the dressing rooms, quickly stripping and reattiring myself in my pale green dress I'd arrived in. Once that was done, I went to the front to pay for my dress, thankfully having brought enough to cover it, if just barely. It was more expensive than I would have paid on my own, but with it came Damien, and I couldn't complain about that.
Once it was done and with instructions to ship it to Camellia, I returned to Damiens side. "Alright, I'm ready," I said pleasantly.
