I nodded a slight no, "that is fine. I don't want to carry this around so I will just have them hold it for me then I can come back for it later." I then added a smile and said, "thanks for the help, I probably wouldn't have even tried it on if I had shopped alone."
I then went into the dressing room to change back into my everyday dress. I wondered about Sebastian and what he would think of the dress. I didn't know him well enough to truly tell. Some adepts seemed to have a sixth sense about their patrons but I was not that good. Perhaps because I lacked d'Angeline blood.

"It's nothing," I said as I walked off to grab the clerk. Quickly, I made my commission, requiring the corsets I had in mind be prepared. It had occurred to me that indeed, men's clothes weren't all flattering - and at the end, I'd realized I wanted something more feminine, but not a dress.
She was efficient, and took measures and instructions, both about the garment and the payment, deftly. Simply, they would deliver, and I would pay home. I got in the dressing room, and heard Ellette get out, and so over the door, I said, "It won't be long, Ellette."
I dressed up quickly, and exited the room, smiling.

I took the dress to the clerk who measured me, though the dress did not need much altering. Which was an unusual thing for me. They still had to shorten the skirt some, not many adults were as short as me. In truth I wondered at my height, after meeting Rannan, he was a few feet above me, I could barely reach his chest with my head. Apparently being raised by bandits doesn't bode well for one's growth.
Once everything was completely I walked to the front door to see if Julie was waiting for me or not. If not I would patiently await her.

I stepped out of the changing room, smiling, rather glad to be back to my regular clothes, and rid of the flower horror.
"Well, Ellette, are you ready?" I asked, grinning.

I smiled, "yes I am. Is there any place in particular that you like to eat?"

"Your pick," I replied, smiling. I was glad to have had the chance to mayhap make a friend. I needed more women in my life, more... more friends, to trust and to be trusted by.

I thought for a moment, but it didn't take me long to choose. I had not been to the White Hart manor in a few years. I sort of owed the place since they took me in when I was without a home. Thankfully they also had good food.
"Do you like the White Hart Manor?" I asked

"I've never been," I replied enthusiastically. "In truth, the only place where I've been out is the Cockeral. I'm more than willing to try a new place!"

"The Cockerel is good too, but I tend to save that for when I'm in the mood for more drinking than food."
I walked out of the store and down the street, showing Julie the way to the White Hart Manor.
