"Excellent," I said, pleased to have met Mael. "I have some business to attend to, and I must leave, but do drop by, and we will enjoy, perhaps, some ale at the Cockeral," I said as I handed him my card.

"Thankyou," I said taking the card. "I will. Goodbye."
After saying farewell to Siegfried I approached the counter to pay for the clothes.

"Oh that's perfectly fine. If I had not spied you picking up this dress I would have spent hours in here searching."
I considered her for a moment and then said, "If you do not mind me saying so, I think I would lean perhaps a little more towards blue, but you would look equally beautiful in both." I said, admiring her wondeful complection and hair color.

I smiled softly for her compliment, glancing down towards the floor before looking back at her. "Thank you, my lady," I said. "Blue it is then, for I do not like to throw away good advice."

I walked into the shop, it was the third one I had visited today and I was becoming annoyed with the lack of anything interesting. I wanted something fun, but classy.
The shop was busy and I smiled at a few of the patrons before moving toward the long dresses. Someone had to have something for me.

"Well then," I looked at the rack we were standing near, nothing was blue. She had helped me find my dress and I was determined to help her. I looked around and saw an entire rack of of differant shades of blue. "How about we look over there, lots of blue." I said.

I smiled and nodded, walking over with her to begin examining the rack of dresses. "Thank you for helping me," I said quietly.

"Oh, your welcome." I said, taking note of her soft tone. Must be the adept in her I thought. "I havn't got much else to do today and like I said before, I would have been searching for hours without you. I owe you one." I looked at the rack and spotted a medium blue dress crested with something that made it sparkle slightly. I moved to it and looked it over. Behind that one was a darker blue with a modest yet sexy cut. If I didn't already have the perfect dress in my hand I would have looked at these for myself. I looked over to Calista, "See anything you like?"

"Plenty of things, actually," I said with a little grin, glancing up at her from a cobalt blue dress I was examining. "I think you were very right - the more I look at the blue dresses the more pleased I am. It's nice to get out of my little red dress box."
Placing the dress back I flipped through a few more, picky and choosing carefully. "I was thinking of something a little more daring," I said a little softer, fearing I was overchatting. "A low back, something that bares at least my collar bones."

I looked around, one benifit of having all dark colors for a complexion is that I can wear any color. I decided that since this was an engament related to royalty I would wear something in a classy color with some lace or other fine details. There was a rack that had dresses of white, beige, and related shades. I started there, hoping to finally complete this shopping day.

My attention was drawn to another girl with a darker complexion I had not seen enter. I watched her browse for a second then turned back to Calista to listen.
"Oh, mean to make an impression do you?" I asked jokingly, thinking how she could probably make a man melt by just one glance. She had a cute yet sophisticated and stunning look.
"Hmmm," I said aloud as I examined a darkish blue dress. It had a daring back criss crossed with little strings of material. The front was equally daring with its v shape cut. "This daring? Or a little less?" I asked.

"Oh," I breathed, running my fingers softly along the material of the dress she examined, "It's very beautiful."
Glancing up to Christelle I gave her a wide smile before selecting the dress off the rack and looping it over my arm. "I'd like to make some sort of impression," I said pleasantly, my confidence that she was indeed a sweet soul building. "I'm just not sure how much."
Christelle seemed like a lovely woman, with fair skin and eyes that could haunt a soul, and I barely surpressed a slight shiver with it. I was ever grateful for her kind words as much as her help, and I couldn't help but give her a second smile before the shape of a woman caught my eye. Glancing up I looked to her and the beige dresses she browsed through, transferring my smile to her if she should happen to glance up while my short look lasted.

I thought I felt eyes on me as I browsed the dresses and I lifted my head up for a look. I saw an adept with dark hair who was about my height. It was not often I meet people as short as me and I couldn't help to return her smile. I didn't want to intrude into her buisness to much, so with a brief nod of greeting I returned to the dresses. There where actually a couple small enough to fit my size without spending a large amount of money in alterations.

"Well, I think you would look stunning in that dress. And make any kind of impression that you wish" I paused to look over the dress, and indicating it I said, "It is a little daring, but still quite sophisticated. Are you going to try it on?"

Giving Christelle a smile for her kind words, I nodded, taking that one dress back with me to the dressing room. Normally I'd have chosen at least three or four outfits, though I truly did like this one, and not because it was picked out for me. The ties were studded gently with little glass beads that reflected the light, calling attention to my back while the daring v-neck would show the sensitive skin between my breasts.
Slipping out of my dress and into the new one, I twisted my arms behind me to tie up the laces as I stepped back out again, glancing around into the triple mirror that stood to the side.

When Calista emerged from the dressing room, I held my breath for a moment."Wow," I said, stunned by the dress on Calista. She looked amazing! More than amazing! "That dress really suits you very well. It looks absolutely beautiful on you."

Christelles words were enough to bring a blush to my cheeks, and I glanced at her through the reflection in the mirror. "I give full credit to you," I said, twirling in a little circle to feel the material rub against my bare skin. A grin lit my mouth as I looked to her, taking a soft breath. "A dress for you, a dress for me. I don't think I have any choice but to buy it."

"Well, I thank you very much for your help." I said, raising the gown in my hands. "And I'm glad I could be of some help to you also." I said, smiling. It was nice to be able to help others. Especially when they had been kind enough to help you.

My smile remained with her words, blooming across my features. "Perhaps we'll run into one another at the fete," I mused, "And together shall make those around us envious."
I laughed with it as it was pure jest, for I had no doubt should we actually find each other in the mass of people she would shine, and I would be in her shadow.

"I do hope to see you at the fete. And with these dresses, we will both shine." I smiled as I said this. We had both found such lovely dresses. I was eager to see what other people had found.
"It was lovely meeting you." I said as I began to seperate from her to buy the dress.

After a few minuets of busy searching I finally found a dress that showed some promise. It was a light tan in color, with strings for shoulders and a split down the entire front that was held together tastefully. It had a strip of lace on the bottom, giving it a look of class. I couldn't help but to give the dress a small smile as I took it into the dressing room to see how it looked on me.

"You as well," I returned to Christelle as she departed, my attention turning back to the mirror. Indeed I liked the dress, though some alterations would have to be done as per usual; in at the waist and hips, taken up at the bottom. It could be a curse to be as short as I was, though most times I truly didn't mind it.
A figure flowed past me, catching my eye. Looking through the mirror I saw the dark skinned adept I'd saw earlier head to the dressing room, looking well pleased. I smiled to myself, figuring I'd stay out here til she emerged.

I stepped out of the dressing room, wearing the dress. I wanted to see it in the better light of the opened area of the store. I walked over to the large mirror, shifting my way this and that to see how it looked and get a feel for it. The dress would need to be taken in at the waist, but overall it was not a bad fit.

Making a soft sound of appreciation, I smiled at the adept as she moved from the dressing room and to an adjacent mirror.
"That color looks wonderful on you," I said, glancing from her and back to the mirror.

I turned around to see that it was the adept I had smiled at earlier who spoke. I smiled and said, "thank you," before turning back to the mirror to look the dress over once more. I then asked, "do you think it will seem to revealing for this sort of celebration?"

I grinned, glancing back to the mirror I stood before. "I don't think so," I said, my fingers smoothing the fabric over my ribs. "Not for an adept, anyway, whose life depends on such things."
My grin held as I made my way back into the dressing room to change, calling out to her softly as I closed the door. "What do you think?"

I shifted in the dress once more than said, "you are correct in that. I have a habit of trying to be to upright at times, doesn't help give me a warm adept feel."
I then returned to my dressing room. Calling out, but not loud enough to involve the entire shop I said, "my name is Ellette no' Dahlia, what is yours?
