The journey was long but not of which to be afraid of, and with this I gained a new strength of my self, and new confidence, as if an old wound had been healed. Now it is time for me to truely start my journey anew. Landing at the docks of Eirie we begin the arduous task of off loading the passengers and cargo. With a light heart I begin to work with my old smirk joyfully plastered to my face, until I hear a squeal of a young lass and I draw my daggers scaring all around me, reacting before I knew what has happened.
"Mu'Steic! Calm yourself man, tis the young lass over yonder. The old Serinissiman just gave her something. They be long friends, relax and put away your damn daggers, there be no danger here." Isiodore told me with a hand restraining my shoulder. "Aye my friend she gave me quite a start with that shriek of hers. She is quite a beauty must be a nobles daughter. Lets get back to work mate, I need to get a drink soon."
Chuckling to myself I return to my labors, hard pressed to get done so I can get paid. It is definately time to start my journey once more.
After a long hard day we finally off load the ship and no matter how hard I buried myself in my work my thoughts returned to the lass on the dock. I did not wish to bother the old Serinissiman before I left to ask more about her, as she would never see me as naught but a servant. Truth be told that is how I saw myself.
"Eh, Capt'n be ya need'n me further?"
"No lad go take your pay and be gone, tis a sad parting you make a fine sailor but go and I hope you find what your looking for." Sadly the captain pays me and bids me farewell.
Now free to start my journey I take my earnings and head to the tavern for a nights lodging and some much needed food and drink. I make my way past the worst of the sailors taverns to the one a shipmate had recommended, the Old Sea Dog.
Remembering an old friends words' "if its a right place your lookin, much I say the Old Sea Dog be the place fer ye. Young you be but tavern brawls be not the place for you. I like ya lad and hope ours paths cross again."
I made my way to the Old Sea Dog and got my self assigned to a room. I left my belongings in the room and went in search of pint. After three weeks at sea I could go another couple hours without a bath.
