Hey Everybody;
If you haven't yet, please begin to head your character's home from the fete.
If you have threads from the night of the fete, please do your best to wind them down within the next week.
Our next plot is the L'Envers Wedding....
As you can see a list of characters invited has already been posted and if there are any problem's please direct them to Valerie and I as we will be the only management handling this wedding (as its our character's wedding).
Trish is always available to field questions, concerns, comments and as always she has the ability to approve characters, and help you if you're having problems...But for this particular event she will not be able to answer your questions....Don't bug her! ;D
As the event itself will not be for a little while (date TBA but probably a few weeks from now), no posting for the day itself will be tolerated and if people do begin posting ahead of schedule, be prepared for it to be deleted.
Preparations are more then allowed, (this includes shopping for wedding attire, adepts making assignation's with peers or vice versa) and is encouraged in order to move things along.
Something I'd like to stress to everyone, since it has been boldly brought to Management's attention, is that we plan things for the board according to what the board can handle.
Some of you may be discouraged, disapointed, or pissed off when you find that you don't have enough posting to do. Each event is planned as such that every one on the board gets a chance to participate. We know that some of you are on the board more then most and you may be saying 'well thats not my fault that they don't get on as much as they should' and though thats true, we ask you to have some patience when RPing.
The reason we keep major plots to a minimum is so that people don't get pulled in too many directions at once. And so that upcoming plots don't get pushed back because of unnecessary posting. Certain things take a certain amount of time (as evident by the coronation fete, its been going since May 15th!) and having two many plots at once can divide some people, and the board's future plots too much.
We know that you all want to get the most playing for your time and we always encourage creating smaller (less time consuming) threads in order to keep you busy, but we also ask for your patience.
This board has been around for almost 2 years and in that time we went from having 2 to 3 players and 10 to 20 characters to having 7- 10 plus players and over 100 plus active characters and more on the way.
The three of us work hard to try to make sure everyone on the board gets that they want and need and that your RPing experience is the best it can possibly be. But sometimes, like in life, things can't always go smoothly and we ask that you all understand this.
We have chosen two players for staff members and are excited to have them coming on board, and this announcement will come after I've closed the fete! We even hope to add another two staff members down the line! We have plently of things planned as well as a huge update in the info on the board and more fun items for your enjoyment. This is a long process and again, we ask for your patience during this time.
Alright, so if anyone has any questions...you know where to reach us...
Hope everyone enjoyed the Coronation! I know Sabrina did! And I'm looking forward to all the great threads that will get going in the future.
Thanks again everyone!
