We reached the door of the Adept's Inn and I held it for her with a bow and a flourish of my hand. "After you my dear Lady Valerian." A broad grin split my face as I kept up with my pretty much normal teasing manner.

"Thank you." I said as I entered into the tavern. I looked around at the empty seats. "Where would you like to sit?" I asked looking to Gil.

I shrugged my shoulders and trailed in the door behind her "I am not particular just pick a spot for us to plop and I will get the drinks. What would you like?" The place was relatively uninhabited this time of day but there were still a few lingering about. I blinked my eyes a few times adjusting to the change in lighting.

I looked around and saw a small but comfortable looking table and turned to Gil.
"Right there." I said pointing it out to him. "I'll have what ever you're having." I added with a wry smile.

"Fine with me" I grinned following here gaze. Then skipped to the bar and got a nice bottle of chilled wine and two glasses. Returning to the table I poured us each a glass and then set the bottle down before settling in myself. "Ah the pleasures of good refreshments and good company."
