“Of course” I simply responded and grinned as the music came to a stop. Then separating from her a bit I added “But anyway, thanks for the assistance with my fumbling and faltering dance steps. Gods know I can use all the help that I can get.”

"Perhaps I'll have the pleasure again." I replied with a tiny smile. I took a step back and curtsied. I continued as I rose. "Once you get the pulse of the City, you should call on me. We should have drinks and revel in how our families are on speaking terms once again."

"We can do that" I smiled a bit to her "though do not feel like you must flee right at this very moment unless you have other business. I have ample time to get started on the reveling now if you are inclined." On a whim I leaned in and gave her a chaste kiss on the cheek before murmuring "I just chose to not endanger the health and well being of your toes any further. I told you I really do not entertain much."

I breathed in his scent, all him and not marred by perfumes. “All the better to do it in smaller doses then.” I told him with a soft smile, speaking quietly. “Tastes, if you will.”

"Very well" I smiled and turned to head back to the table and the last few swallows of my drink. I lingered enough for Anacrasia to catch up with me. I did not take my seat but instead reached and picked up my glass "If you would like me to call on you where should I do so?"

"My townhome, it's on Rue de Safran." I replied. "And I'd much rather you used 'when', rather than 'if' you'll call on me."
Everyone needed a little reassurance once in a while, and I leaned in and laid my own kiss on his cheek then murmured in his ear. "I hope you don't disappoint me. I would be terribly crushed." And with that I left him. I paused at the door, both to settle the bill and for someone to fetch my jacket, and I glanced back at him with a little smile as I waited. But the service was quick, and it was only a moment before I was out the door and on my way home.

I smiled "Alright, -when- you have my word on it." And I hoped the lady knew how seriously I took my word. I leaned into her departing kiss and then watched her go. I did not comment on the disappoint quip as I had given my word. If I did not keep it then simply put I was dead.
I finished my drink and watched the shapely backside of Anacrasia depart before returning to my chambers. She certainly seemed to be quite the lady.
