Something I thought about putting up a while ago but never did. So, here it is.
Put your characters (all of them) into one of your favorite movies. Try to fit their personalities with the movie characters as much as possible.
I'll put my example/movie below.

Hero (Chinese movie not the American one)
Nameless: Rannan, he's out to fight for what is right and is willing ot change his own ideals to the right one if they come along.
Broken Sword: Eyvind. He's devoted to his love no matter where she goes or what she is doing. Though he won't bend his own morals, he will wait patiently for her to come around if she ever will.
Flying Snow: Ellette. She is bent on revenge and is letting her emotions hurt the ones she loves.
Sky: Zachraie. He (maybe she... its a big mystrey... cue twlightzone music) has a bone to pick and is willing to fight anyone for it.
Moon: Cascata. Devoted to learning what she can from her master and is trying to figure out if she loves him or not (though she does not love her brother in the game)
The Emporer: Idaeus. He wants to control all of China and he'll convence you its for the good of the people (granted in the movie his character was probably being honest but in real life that is negotionable... the movie is based on a legend).
Flying Snow's Servant: Caine. He doesn't understand his master but he will do as she asks.
Aaliyah: one of the calligrapher's. She is devoted to her art and culture even if it means she could die for it. Xiao will join her to stand up for her country (putting her as moon would have been to easy/obvious)

So…. I’m picking our favorite series… the LOTR Trilogy, har har har.
- Walid definitely gets to be Aragorn. Future ruler, good hearted, the stuff of a hero… yup yup yup. And like I said, he may have a bit of a temper, but he is more enlightened than may be expected.
- Svetlana I cast as Arwen. Kind of like her, she is waiting for her prince to save her – even if she has no idea who he is, and if/when he will come.
- Gillermo gets to be Boromir. He is hororable and noble, like him – and like him, he commits regularly the sin of pride.
- Yvan gets to be Gollum. Slimy, deceptive, murderous… Hmmm…. My precious…
- Sébastien is Faramir: fun, brave, skilled in battle, dutiful, but more on the scouting side…
- Siegfried is Eomer: Brave, stern, noble… and he has the right hair color.
- Julie gets to be Eowyn. She’s tender and loving like her, idealistic, and used to be rather lonely – though she no longer is… She can kick a Nazgul’s butt too ! (Yeah… I wish…);D
- Géraldine is getting to be Rosie Cotton – like her, she aspires to have a simple life, to simply have a husband, and children – with love in the balance, of course.
- Shona I cast as Galadriel. They have hair color in common, and Galadriel had enough willpower to resist the lure of the Ring, Shona has it too.

My favorite movie The Outlaw Josie Wales
Gadleon as the improbably and vengeful hero with a dark side.
Ghislain as the innocent and playful Rebel soldier who is killed in the last act of betrayal of the civil war.
Edwyn as the kindly and charismatic saloon keeper who helps show Josie there is more to life.
Uruz as Josie’s former commander who had betrayed him but then found redemption in the end by saving him.
Mathieu as the oily carpet bagger not out for anyone but himself
Pieter as the noble union commander who believes in the cause but not the methods of his unsavory men.
