Name: Marcellin Lothaire Buonard nó D'Eltoine
Age: 17
Race: D'Angeline/Serenissiman
Gender: Male
Appearance: While not of pure D'Angeline blood, Marcellin does have a certain allure, carried more by his demeanor and manners than his physical appearance. Dark flowing hair, haunted hazel eyes, a collection of small scars, and with a slender wiry build, he remains fluidly formal and serious at all times. Always around his neck, a silver chain with a small black charm of a shield, and at his waist a silver-handled dagger.
History: The grandson of Phanuel Buonard and Serena Pidari, Marcellin was raised into what he perceived as a dishonored household. Not content to work in the family glass trade, he pursued training in the military arts, starting by following the Immortali and wading into any fight that seemed one-sided. When it became apparent to his mother and grandmother that he would not be dissuaded from his intent, at age 12 they arranged at great cost to have Marcellin fostered by the D'Eltoine family.
During the fosterage, he studied D'Angeline warfare, strategy and tactics... including a brief study with a retired Cassiline, enough to give him a bit of grace with the daggers. Intensive study for 4 years brought him to the realization of how to redeem his family name; To seek service with, or provide service unsolicited, for the Courcel family, and start upon the path of redemption that the Unforgiven once walked themselves.
Realizing that he will not be deterred, the grandfatherly Tarren d'Eltoine has a letter of recommendation drafted, addressed to any member of the Royal House. He jokingly bestows it upon Marcellin, knowing that it will probably bring new problems rather than rectify the old.
