The day of the wedding was finally here, and I wasn't hesitant about readying myself for the event. I was looking forward to getting there and stretching my legs among my peers, saying hello to those I knew, meeting others. Gil and I were set to meet there and I smiled as I stepped into the carriage, settling myself for the hour long ride, a book by my side to keep me busy.
For now all I did was look out the window as the City began to roll past me, my hair drawn up away from my face for the vows, though pinned in such a fashion that I could let it down after the nuptuals were over and the celebrations began. I didn't know Elliot or Caraf personally, though I was happy for them that they had found love together.
Settling back, I kept the curtain open and picked up my book, picking up where I had left off earlier. Here was hoping for the best.
