"Two weeks it is," I agreed with a smile and offered him a hand to shake. "Thank you again Siegfried, for your healing touch. It was greatly appreciated."

I smiled, accepting the handshake. At the door, someone was rattling, and I said, letting go of his hand, "You are very welcome, Adin. I look forward to meeting your father."
I strode to the door, and opened it to find a concerned Joelle. "My Lord, is everything alright? Your next patient has been waiting for a while now, and threatens to leave."
I sighed, and chuckled. Seemed I hadn't quite paid heed to time. "Duty calls," I said with an apologetic smile.

"Of course, I'm sorry to have held you up," I told him with a soft smile. "I'll see you soon Docteur."
I let him go about his business and followed his receptionist back to her desk to settle the bill.

"See you soon," I replied with a grin. I looked forward to the next outing - I didn't go out so often, save for chance encounters. It was about time I start making plans with friends like normal people.
The next patient entered, and I filed the thought away, concentrating instead on the wonders of fungus infections.
