I left a note to Kendrick the day I'd sent the letter to Gentian House.
On his desk, I left the note before I left to Mont-Nuit.
I had promised myself not to hide anything from my big brother - it started today.
Kendrick,
I gave appointment to Vincent at the Black Boar, two days from the L'Envers Wedding.
If you are available, do join us? A meeting of siblings, perhaps would do us well...
Love,
Julie

The house was quiet, and I decided that after bathing I'd head off to an acquaintance's home. On my way out I stopped by my desk to gather a letter to be taken via courier to the Deveroix estate in Namarre when I saw a note written in the unmistakable hand of Julie.
Picking it up, I read it, then stooped over my desk to pen her a response back.
Jules,
I'll do my best to make it. Let me know what time and I will try to plan accordingly.
All my best, Kendrick
Making a side trip, I left it on her pillow before exiting the townhome for the day.

I stumped my self in the head when I saw Kendrick's note. I was being true to my flaws, at least. Deftly, another note was penned, and left, once again, at his door.
Tiger,
Sorry about that, I've been... distracted, as usual.
I told him at sunset, since I have to train before I go.
Looking forward to it,
Jules

Her note was scanned and tucked away in a top drawer of my desk; I'd said what I needed to in the last one and there was little else until the day of the meeting. Settling myself down, I enjoyed one last drink of my scotch before buckling down on the unopened letters before me.

I knew my trembling hand would give me away, even if I tried to contain myself in a note that was more than laconic.
Kendrick, brother dear,
I have a mind to go to the Temple of Elua tomorrow. Likely Vincent will come – will you come as well? If not, tell me when we can see each other, and I will meet you.
Missing you,
Baby Julie
