Name: Quinn du Paras, future Duc du Paras
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Race: d'Angeline
Appearance: Beautiful in the way of all d'Angelines, Quinn possesses an easy grace that would have served him well had he chosen a military lifestyle. His grey eyes are accented by a wealth of black eyelashes that have been the envy of many women. He keeps his blue-black hair cut unfashionably short, caring more for convenience than fashion.
Background: The only thing quicker than Quinn's wry grin, is his mind. True to his Siovalese heritage, Quinn prizes learning above all else.
His family's estate is Siovale is neither large nor small, but is very profitable and his family has run it for as long as written documentation can trace. His father, Peyton, was second cousin to the lately departed Duc Clovis de Siovale. Quinn's mother, Isabeau, comes from a minor noble house in Eiseth. Isabeau's mother was seduced by a Shahrizai lord and became pregnant with Isabeau. The Lord, wanting nothing to do with a family, returned to his family's lands never to be heard from again. Isabeau has always shied away from her Shahrizai heritage and speaks of it as little as possible. Quinn's faint Shahrizai blood shows only in the blue black of his hair and his biting wit, for he has no tolerance for stupidity on any level and does not shy away from pointing it out when confronted by it.
Quinn never lack for resources growing up, but at a very early age he knew he would need to travel to even begin to quench his thirst to learn. It is a family joke that Quinn's first word was 'why', shortly followed by 'how'.
Upon reaching 18, Quinn immediately set out for Tiberium. He was of the view that he would have years to learn whatever Terra d'Ange held for him, but he must travel while he still had the advantages of youth and freedom from responsibilities. His time in Tiberium was wonderful, with Quinn quickly become a favorite of the masters. However, as he knew it would, his time there came to an end and he slowly made his way back to Terra d'Ange.
Now, he has taken up residence in the City with his parent's blessing, ready to begin the study of his homeland.
Update
Quinn quickly settled into the City. Of late he's been seen much in the company of Joie de Mornay. He has also taken a deep interest in exploring his Shahrizai heritage. The house that Quinn bought in the City has been undergoing major rennovations at his behest, one of which is turning the entire second floor into a library and another was putting a sparring ring on the grounds.
