I smiled back to Rainier. "I wouldn't suggest books at all but the real thing. Books are meerly a stop gap between bordem and the real world." I said taking my relaxed posture once more.
"But if I had to choose a book I'd say any book relating to D'Angeline history. It facinates me, the real life account of some of the greatest real live characters we've ever seen."

"I'd have to agree with you. Real life characters are facinating, but," I paused, " I do love a good fantasy now again. Takes you away from the dull world around you." I said leisurely. Moving my hand, indicating the world.

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, a good fantasy is always worth the read." I replied. "Any you would suggest?"

"Um, there is one I used to read often. I can't recall the title but the author’s last name was Riley. I think the book might interest you; the main character was about a very promiscuous woman. The setting was, I believe early Tiberium. It had its own style of intrigue."

I glanced over at Christelle. "I've read that, too," I murmured to her.

"Hmm," I replied, my voice in a low tone of seductiveness. "Sounds like my sort of book." I replied handing him back the book Avive had handed me.

I covered a laugh by clearing my throat. "Do you read often, my lady? I can hardly find the time these days."

I took the book back from Marcella, purposely brushing her fingers with mine. My face plain all the while. Not revealing anything.
But her hands are so warm, I thought as I pulled my hands away.

I smiled coyly at the oh so delicate motion of his finger's brushing mine.
"Perhaps you can lend me the book some time." I said offering a chance for another encounter.

"All the time," I said. "Part of what I am doing here is moving into a higher level of study, so I read anything I can get my hands on."

"Interesting." I said.
Looking out the windows, I noted the position of the sun. "I've had a lovely time chatting with all of you, but I really must be going. My retainer Pierre has probably grown bored of waiting for me outside."
"I look forward to seeing you all again." I said as I began to walk away.

I watched the girl leave from the corner of my eye but kept my attention with Rainier. "Excellent," I replied. "I'll have to take you up on that invite." I said batting my lashes in a slightly teasing manner.

"Hope to see you again." I called after Christelle.
"I would hope so." I said to Marcella in an equally teasing manor.

I smiled. "I never turn down a offer from family." I replied then turned to Avive and inclined my head.
"If you'll excuse me though I'm off to find the book I was looking for." I said then turning back to Rainier. "Good day." The last was said to Rainier with a soft seductive smile and wink.

I curtseyed silently; this woman filled me with fear and loathing, and I was glad she was going.

I smiled to myself as I watched Marcella's figure walk away. Pulling myself away I turned to Avive.
"Alas, my lady Mauvais, I should be going as well. I look forward to seeing you again." I said smiling genuinly, for I had enjoyed her company.
I turned and walked away to buy the book in my hand.

I curtseyed to him with a wider smile. "Likewise," I said, as he left.
I turned my attention back to the book in my hands, and continued to read.

I was fumming over such a woman, I knew now why I had not spent anytime with the Shahrizai. Who could stand them but their own? I decided to find something to read, something to take my mind off that woman. I slipped into Armands and began searching about. Finding a book I began to flip through it as I walked...a great mistake as I soon bumped into a young noble woman reading.
"Oh, Elua forgive me." I said to the girl picking up the books that had been dropped.

"Oh, no, my lord, excuse me, I should have been more alert -" As I bent down to help him pick up the books, I caught a glimpse of his face and my jaw dropped. Hastily, I shut it and dropped into the fastest curtsey I have ever mustered. "My Lord de Somerville."

I smiled and the simple yet pretty girl. "Not at all." I said rising and sorting the books. "At least give me the honor of your name since you have mine."

I shifted my book so that it was under my arm and bowed taking her hand a placing a kiss on the back of it. "Its a pleasure Lady de Mauvais." I said softly before rising and releasing her hand, I let my lips linger against her skin but released her never the less. "Please, let me make it up to you for being so...clumsy. Can I buy you a drink?"

He was even more charming than his brother, and I smiled at his kiss. "I would love a drink," I said, "thank you." I set the book I was holding down on the table, I could always come back for it later.

Watching her lay the book that she had I followed and offered my arm. "Any where in particular?" I asked smiling. "My Lady's choice."

Taking his arm, I thought a moment. "I have not yet been to the Cockeral," I said. "Does that suit my lord?"

I nodded. "The Cockeral it is." I said with a grin. "You like it a little on the dangerous side don't you." I said looking down at her. "The Cockeral isn't exactly the place where nobles from court like to frequent."
