"That would be why I'm asking your opinion. I've not seen any since my arrival, and I've not had much to base decisions off of. I'm terribly ill informed I'm afraid." I commented. It was mostly true, I suppose.

"I meant of all the things you have experienced since you've been here. It sounds as if you have had a few experiences at least and if I know what you liked best I might be able to steer you towards more similar things," I explained, smiling.

"Oh, right." I stammered a bit shammed. "Well, I suppose I saw a couple old D'Angline plays during my first visits. " I started. "Oh, there was a very charming Alban lyerst I heard one time. Quite hypnotic, but very skilled."

"Have you been to The Black Boar? There are wonderful musicians there," I told him, mentioning the Alban themed tavern.
Before I could go on, Carson tapped my arm. Giving Tabien an apologetic look, I leaned in as Carson whispered a few things in my ear. I kept my face neutral as I listened to what he told me, then straightened back up.
"Well, it seems Carson is done with the scrolls," I said, smiling.

I went to respond before she halted me.
"My that was quite quick. What is the verdict then, I do hope they are acceptable." I asked only slightly concerned.

"They are," I replied. "Would you care to finish your tea before we return to business or shall we dive right in?"

"Oh, I'd hate rush our friend here. If he's ready though, I wouldn't mind. Let me know what you think, I'm all ears." I said, holding my tea to my lips, and taking a final sip before setting it down.

"Well, I am interested in purchasing them all from you. Is your price still 3000 minus the price of the first scroll?" I asked, settling back into my roll as a businesswoman.

"It is indeed." I did my best not to flinch when she said it. It definitely was a good boon for me.
"Though I am curious that your seriously keeping them for yourself." I noted aloud.

"I am indeed, though as I said some may go to my father. They are staying within my family though," I told him smiling, pleased he hadn't upped the price. "And I will agree to your price."
Standing, I pulled out a contract and began to fill in the spaces.

"I assume that you don't carry that kind of coin on you on hand though. I just recently was able to find a good factor in the city, I hope that helps." I said as she finished the majority, and handed the quill to me.
"Your Illiryian, yes?" I asked.

"By half, my father is Illyrian," I said as I finished filling in the relevant information and looked it over before handing him the quill and turning the contract so he could look it over. "Why do you ask?"
I withdrew a piece of my personal business stationary to write the note of funds on.

"Blatant curiosity, I assure you. Is it wrong of me to ask?" I couldn't help but tease slightly. I hope I could leave here with the beginnings of a friendship, as well as some monetary currency to boot.

"Not at all," I said, chuckling. "I was just curious about your curiosity."
I had written out the funds note for him to give to his factor, I just waited for him to sign the contract before handing it over.
"My mother is d'Angeline, my father Illyrian. Once I took over the business they moved to Illyria," I told him, smiling.

"Well, you seemed to have turned out quite well." I complimented her, going to sighn my name as she offered that remainder of the quill. I breathed a small sigh as I put my name down. For all the worth of these artifacts, I was relieved to have a good portion out of my hands. I've never been terribly good at upkeep of texts.

"Thank you very much," I said smiling wider and handing him the funds note after he signed the contract. "This will cover the rest of the price for the scrolls. I want t thank you for bringing them to me first, they will be well taken care of."

"I'm glad to hear it. They've had a long journey, and I hope they'll bring insight eventually to any who might read them." I gave my thanks to Carson, who I'd finally weaseled the name from him.
Taking the note from Mirsada, I commented. "Truly, I appreciate this. You've done me a great service.

"As you have me, those scrolls are a wonderful addition to my library, I will treasure them," I told him honestly. They were very rare indeed and I was thrilled to have them.

With the business concluded, I removed my cloak, and tacked it on with relative ease. Thanking Carson, I turned to Mirsada.
"I'm sure you will. If you ever have any questions, I'm sure you can find me." I turned to exit. "And perhaps, I might come by again, your shop has many interesting things." I smiled.

"It would be a pleasure to see you again, even if all you would like is tea and conversation. I promise no haggling if you just come to chat," I told him, smiling wide.

I chuckled. "I'm sure we could find something more stimulating to talk about. And I could always use a good cup of tea."
I gave a final nod, and departed as became my signature, swiftly and surely.
Stepping outside, I looked at the note. Time to make some arrangements.
