Looking for Items

[Prince Gratien de Somerville]

I entered into the shop, I had been wandering around Mont Nuit and had found nothing. I hoped I'd find more things here.

The bell above the door chimed and I looked up from the shelf where I had been arrange some new pieces from Ch'in.

Hmm, I didn't recognize the man who had just entered. Definitely d'Angeline, and royal would be my guess, but unknown as to who he was.

"Good day, my lord," I said, approaching him and curtseying slightly. "Welcome to Anezka Collections, I am Mirsada Anezka."

I smiled inclining my head respectfully to the shop keep.

"Good day my lady Anezka." I replied politely. "I am Gratien de Somerville, its a pleasure to meet you." I bowed and straightened.

"I'm looking for some items for my home, I was told this was a nice place to begin."

"Is there anything in particular that you are looking for? A certain style or color?" I asked him, smiling.

"No," I said looking around. "Just trying to find something." I sighed slightly and furrowed my brows.

[Mirsada Anezka]

"You are more than welcome to wander around and look if you'd prefer," I told him. "In addition to everything you see here, there are alcoves in the back with larger items such as rugs and bigger pieces of furniture."

"What do you have that's new?" I asked looking at the items. "Perhaps if you show me some things I may see something I like."

[Mirsada Anezka]

I had the feeling that the items from Ch'in would not be quite what he was looking for, so I led him to another section of the store.

"I just recently received a new shipment from Illyria," I told him as we walked. "Including a selection of very comfortable chairs with matching footrests as well as some side tables and carved chests."

Stopping before the grouping of items, I stood slightly to the side so that he could look at them.

I looked around the room nodding slightly at the things I saw.
"Yes, I think some of these would do well in my room as well as the sitting room." I pointed to a blue set with an interesting patern to it.

"That pair, I'll take those." I looked back to lady Mirsada. "I need some tapistries as well, something interesting. Perhaps something from Aragonia."

"This way," I said, smiling and leading him to another area.

Moving a rack aside, I pointed to a collection of about a dozen tapestries displayed along a wall.

"All of those are from Aragonia," I told him.

I looked over them, my hands moving over each.
"No, not really what I'm looking for. What other nations do you have tapestries?" I asked looking back at her.

[Mirsada Anezka]

"I have some from Ch'in, Illyria, Hellas, Caerdicca Unitas, Menekhet and Ephesus at the moment," I replied.

"Were you looking for something with a particular color or design?" I asked, running through my inventory in my head.

I shook my head sighing.
"Not really, I just figured something I want would jump out at me." I said still looking. "I'm really not good at these things."

"There are plenty still to look at," I told him. I moved to another section of the tapestries and flipped through a few until I found the ones I was looking for.

"These are from Caerdicca Unitas, they tend to be much more eye catching than most others," I explained, showing them to him.

I shook my head.
"No, I'm not really partial to these either." I sighed some what disheartened.

[Mirsada Anezka]

"Is it to go in the same room as the chair you just picked out?" I asked, looking through some other tapestries off to the side. "This one has the same blue in it."

I pulled out a tapestry that I had always rather fancied. It was a serene scene with the sea and a ship, the cliffs of Alba rising in the background. And though peaceful, it had always held a hint of longing whenever I looked upon it.

I nodded.
"Now this I like." I replied wagging my finger excitingly at it. "I'll take this one as well."

[Mirsada Anezka]

"Wonderful," I said, delighted to have found something he liked. Smiling even more, I asked, "Was there anything else you were looking for?"

"A wife?" I said teasingly and chuckled at my own joke.

"I think that's its." I sighed and shrugged slightly. "Will you deliver it?"

[Mirsada Anezka]

"All out of wives," I replied, chuckling as well.

"But yes, I will have these other items delivered. When would be best the time?" I asked as I led him towards the counter.

I nodded.
"Mid day would be best." I replied as we reached the front counter.

"Mid day it is then," I said as I began writing out the receipts.

Gazing around the store I turned back to her.

"Where would you suggest as a place to meet people?" I asked knowing I had spent far to much time on my own as of late.

[Mirsada Anezka]

I paused for a moment as I thought. "The White Hart is always popular," I told him. "Or if you don't mind something a little more rustic, The Cockerel is good as well."

Receipts finished, I slid them across for him to inspect and sign.

I looked over tha paper work and nodded it signing the delivery notice and pulled my purse from my belt.

"What about the Night Court, I've never been but I keep being told how wonderful it is."

[Mirsada Anezka]

"The Night Court can not truly be explained in a tale, it must be experienced," I said, smiling a little knowingly.

I chuckled and nodded.
"Any house you would suggest?" I asked curiously.

[Mirsada Anezka]

"It truly depends on what you prefer," I replied. "Jasmine, Heliotrope or Orchis are good places to start though if you do not have a desire that tends to a particular House."

I nodded.
"I'm not a proprietor of Valerian or Mandrake, those houses sound just up my alley." I replied handing her three quarters of the price.

"I hope that's alright," I said regarding the coinage. "Three quarters now, the rest on delivery?"

My smile spread some, appreciating his caution. "Perfectly alright," I said, putting the coins away.
