My trunks arrived well before me.
"Good evening Prince Gratien." My new senschelle, Gustave, greated me at the door.
"Evening." I said softly, my hand clasped behind me.
"The house is set up to all your specifications, would you like me to take you around?" He asked pleasently.
"Please." I replied smiling, he gestured for me to follow.
"This is the sitting room, as you can see its sparsely decorated and has only the bare minimum for the room." I nodded silently and looked over the room.
"Are there many rooms like this?" I asked turning back to him.
"A few my lord, if it's not to bold of a suggestion I would urge my lord to find some new item's for the house." I nodded again thinking to myself.
"Lets continue." He nodded and began to guide me through the house.
"Here is the dinning room which connects to a private lounge which in turn connects to the other side of your study." We moved through the vast room to a smaller room -the lounge- and then onto the study. The house wasn't empty but it sure did need a few more items. I looked over every wall trying to put together what I needed, what would look good and what I already had to spread around as we walked.
"This is the library, the last owner was not much of a reader, I suppose that's up to you whether you stock the shelves." Gustave said looking as though he was trying to gauge my response.
"Its obvious that I'll have lots to buy for the house, is there a list of items the staff needs?" I asked as we walked up the stairs to the bedrooms.
"Yes my lord, though the list is less extensive." I was glad for that, less buying meant less bugeting, it wasn't my favourite part of my title.
"Good." I said softly and mostly to myself. Once we reached the upstairs fully he stopped.
"There are four rooms, the master with an en suite bathing room and three others all centered around the other bathing room." I nodded and Gustave began to guide me to the master room.
"I don't need to see the others, that will be up to those that end up living there." I was thinking of Azabelle, Maurice and Pierre.
"Then this is it." He said opening the door and showing me the room.
"This too will need more things." I said with a sigh, my trunks at the foot of my bed.
"Then I'll leave you to it my lord." I turned to Gustave as he bowed and nodded smiling a tired smile then turned back to my room. This was it, this was home.
