Name: Guy de Mereloit
Age: 33
Height: 6’2”
Gender: Male
Race: d’Angeline
Home Province:Eisande
PB: Ben Chaplin
Appearance: Guy is a well built man, tall with a darkish complexion. He is muscular though that is starting to give way to leanness. He has a thin smile on his tanned face, a few wrinkles and scars mare him here and there, giving him just enough weathering to keep him from looking perfect. His eyes are two deep dark pools that one would think to be jet black until a closer inspection is taken, revealing them to be a very dark sepia. His hair is a similar hue and is cut just long enough to let its natural waviness show.
Personality: Guy was a soldier, therefore he made it a goal to exemplify what he believed a soldier should be, relying on his own natural personality to do so. He is a man of honor and dignity, but not prideful. In fact he often tells himself that he’s never done things quite right. He is generous to a fault and the pinnacle of chivalry. Despite his kindness he is not afraid to give out orders as he has a strong sense of rank. He is polite but firm. When alone he can be prone to deep thought and it sometimes shows in his eloquent speeches, when he is so moved to give them. Other than those he can be rather quiet. He is spontaneous in that and many other regards.
History: Guy de Mereloit as born as the second son of the Comte de Avignon. His elder brother, Lucien, was heir to the estate. Guy grew up a quiet sort of boy, always thinking about one thing or another, and playing pretend. He was a great general in his imagination, making great speeches to rally his troupes to victory. While many boys his type would drown themselves in storybooks, Guy actually set this as a goal, learning the effective use of the sword, armor, horseback riding. He constructed a rigorous code of chivalry for himself which included chastity for as long as he was in the army. He may as well have been a Casseline, some said.
As soon as he was of age he volunteered himself into the royal army. It was about this time his father died and Lucien became Comte. Guy handled the death of his father well, using it as further motive for his dream. He was a strong soldier as well as dedicated and quickly found himself rising in rank, to General. His dream came to a glorious end however when he was wounded in the line of duty. His leg would never be quite the same again. It was a crushing blow to his spirits but he recovered and accepted it, secretly hoping that someday they would call him back to serve.
He would find other service however as an illness took Lucien’s life. Guy was now thirty years of age. He decided to be of use and take the position. There is has stayed as the inspiration, generous, and quite comte to this day.
