Name: Lady Jessamine de Mornay, future Baroness de Mornay, Eisande
Age: 19
Race: D'Angeline/Eiran (of the Dalriada)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Jessamine favors her D'Angeline blood, though her paternal grandmother's Dalriada heritage gives her a shorter stature at about 5'5" and curly, fiery hair. Her eyes are captivating green and almond-shaped, giving her a pixish appearance. She is slender and lithe.
History: Jessamine is the eldest in a family of only girls, much to her mother's chagrin (girls of Eire are notoriously strongwilled and given to disagreement) and grew up reading the histories written by her deceased great-aunt Thelesis de Mornay. Writing was always her dream, and she gets immence joy from the act. In her, however, the Dalriada heritage mixed with Eisheth's blessing, making her a great storyteller, but of tales much more sensational than her dignified ancestor. Full of battle and love, but written with flowing and romantic script, Jessamine spends most of her spare moments writing and brainstorming for new works of fiction.
Jessamine was born into a quite esteemed family- Thelesis was awarded posthumously the lands she refused in her lifetime and her brother and his family were made executors of the estate. After Louis, the first Baron de Mornay's, death, it passed to Jessamine's father Harold who had already married her mother Portia, who was a merchant's daughter. As inheritor of the estate, Jessamine is often sitting in on her father's work as Baron and is determined to see as much of the world as possible before she has duties to the estate herself. Her father indulges his eldest born, joking that her hair is so red because of all of the stories of bloodshed and romance leaking out of it, while her mother despairs of ever getting her to calm down.
Even though she is seen as fickle and overly tempermental, Jessamine is all business when it comes to the affairs of the estate. She is passionate and loving as a general attitude, but a misstep provokes a rather passionate and aggressive response, especially when it endangers those she cares about or who rely on her. People have found out about her temper the hard way, assuming her easygoing nature made her a doormat. Many of those people soon made amends, though those that did not will recieve no quarter.
Lately, she has been staying in the City of Elua hoping to learn more about the cultures of the lands before she begins her travels. Also, she is hoping she may get to get her stories some notice, or even to live out a story of her own, before she has to 'waste away in a seclusion of work'.
