Name: Felicien Shahrizai
Age: 23
Race (Lineage Origin): D'Angeline (Kusheline)
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11"
Home Province/Country: Kusheth
Appearance: Felicien is somewhat feminine in his face, with thick lips and long, heavy black eyelashes. His nose is slightly wide, very round at the bottom, with a small bump on the bridge. His eyes are a stark blue, the color of the ocean. His skin is fair, and freckles dot both his face and his shoulders. The noble's jawline is well-set, the most masculine trait on his face. Wavy black hair frames his face, down to his shoulders. Everything about him is chiseled, especially his physique. Felicien's body is muscular and smooth, and he walks with a constant swagger.
The Baron is very sure of himself, his lips usually parted in a wicked smile. Those close to him know him to be overly cocky, sure that he is both great and nigh untouchable. This naitivity could bring him to his downfall. What's more, he is a prideful creature, obsessed with apperances and those things whispered behind his back. Everything about him is calculated, from the way he walks to the company he keeps. However, he seems to enjoy every moment, the world around him just being one big game. He dresses in his finest at all times, and does his very best to never be dirty of ill-attired. After all, he is doing his damndest to rise to power, and his image is everything.
History: Felicien's parents, Olivia Shahrizai (sister to Faragon Shahrizai) and Augustine Shahrizai (Baron of a small holding in Kusheth) were third cousins before they were wed, as is common amongst the Shahrizai clan. Felicien was the oldest of four children with two sisters, Emmaline and Arielle, and a brother, Cassius, beneath him. Felicien's father died when the boy was seventeen years of age. While fingers were pointed every which way, no one was convicted of the man's apparent poisoning. Felicien knew, however, that it was his mother who had commited the crime, if only to bring her son closer to power. Olivia believed that her blood, the blood of her family, was stronger than that of her husbands, as she had only wed him in order to inherit his land and title. With Augustine out of the way, Felicien could bring greatness to her name.
The boy has been raised from infancy for greatness, taught to speak as many languages as his young mind could bear, history crammed into his brain as much as his mother could manage. He speaks D'Angeline, Caerdicci, and Cruinthe, though he is always working on learning others. Olivia pushed her eldest son so hard in order to make him a worthy courtier, the sort of man able to command a strong precense as well as steal the hearts of women.
Leaving his small holding to his eldest sister, Emmaline, he has moved to the City of Elua to try his hand at gaining more power. While he is not particularly well trained for the battlefield, he is a master of games and storytelling, a man of words and cunning. He has always held respect for Faragon Shahrizai and his mother's blood, including his cousin Anacrasia. They are of strong blood, the blood his mother desires to place higher in the court of Terre D'ange. Augustine taught his son but only to be wary of the Shahrizai, those of strong blood in particular. As such Felicien views his Duchesse cousin with both respect and caution. If he should have anyone to fear at all, it would most definitely be his kin.
