My brow furrowed at his vague statement, "It's nice to know when one is speaking to a sleeping dragon."
I shook his hand, "You haven't over stayed your welcome at all, Gil. I wouldn't have brought the topic up if you didn't want to discuss it. I would have appreciated it if you were just honest with me and spoke to me man to man."
I shrugged my shoulders, "I enjoyed the sparring, perhaps we can do it again some time. I'll show you out." I led the way out of the dinning room to the front door.
"Have a good evening," I said as he left the house. I wasn't sure if I would be interested in meeting with him again. I was easily annoyed by those who couldn't be up front about what they wanted. It was obvious he didn't want to talk about his past. If he had just said so, it wouldn't have come up. It wasn't as if I wanted to discuss my past either. I would likely have respected him for it, but now he seemed a bit like a liar to me.
