"Oddities," I said ith a chuckle. "And just about anything can be made odd. I suppose though my favourite thing to do is just anything symbolic, or anything that gives the eye multiple focal points. I like to be abstract, but I am a stickler for dtail. My favourite thing to work in is ink though, and when I am dne here, and my marque has been made, I will be the next in my family to take over our marquist's salon." I said, grinning. "What about you, what is your favourite subject matter?"

“People,” I answered without hesitation. “I like catching them when they don’t realize they are being captured. The honesty of it is a challenge, to transfer the moment onto paper or canvas so that a viewer years later might feel exactly what I felt when I saw it is the ultimate challenge.”

"Ah so you are an avid people watcher, always searching for the perfect moment?" I queried with a smile as i looked about, searching for something to catch my fancy.

“I guess so,” I said with a chuckle. “I’ve never thought of it that way though.”
We came around a bend to one of my favorite spots in the garden. “What about that?” I asked, pointing to the old, twisted rose bush. Its vines wove in and out of each other, tangling until it was impossible to where one started or ended. The vines were heavy with palm-sized blooms of red so deep they looked velvet.

Once we rounded the bend in the walkway, Darien pointed out something that was right up my alley. I could not help but to grin widely at it, and then giggle, perhaps a little awkwardly.
"It is absolutely perfect!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down a moment before I leaned over and wrapped my arms about his neck in an embrace.
"You... you are magnificent!" I cried out again before unwrapping myself from about the poor man, he probably was a little terrified now with my odd behaviour.
"IOts... its so twisted! It's absolutely stunning!" I exclaimed.

Her response startled a laugh out of me, it was so unexpected.
“I’m glad you like it,” I said, smiling. “I’ve come to this spot often; it’s one of my favorite non-people subjects.”

I laughed softly, eyes sparkling as inspiration sat before me, gnarled and twisted, with throns, deep green lush leaves and stems, and p-lump crimson blooms.
"Oh this is perfect! I wonder why I had not seen it before," I mused to myself. "It may well become one of my own favourite subjects," I teased, still grinning widely, my lips parting and spreading to show a gleaming line of white teeth.

“Ah, then I am honored to have shared such inspiration with you,” I replied, still smiling.
I motioned to a place across the path from the bush, the ground flattened and clear of vegetation. “That’s where I usually sit to draw; the lighting is especially good in the late afternoon.”
