I stood upright and took one step in her direction. "Well to be quite frank I'd rather it be sooner. I may find a better opportunity, snatch it up and forget about lil you." I smiled, keeping everything good natured. "Like I said though, I'm patient and will wait that long if I absolutely must. So, what'll it be, my fellow flower of Camlach?" It felt good to turn the tables on others in a sense, so long as it was light hearted as this was. We both knew there was a high likelihood I'd take the job, at least I assumed that.

"I've never had anyone said that I'm easily forgotten before," I replied in an equally playful tone, though the statement did make me wonder a bit. I had the feeling that he was just trying to see how easily I would be annoyed though so I let it go. "But you're right, sooner may be better than later. How about in three days instead?" My tone was far from desperate, merely interested, mostly because if things didn't go well I knew he'd probably remember me for one reason or another anyway.

I noted a bit off arrogance. healthy pride can be a good thing, I of all people knew that. There is a danger involved though. "I would prefer even less, but I can settle with three, after all I'm really not in any place to negotiate."
Mentally I gave myself a pat on the back for three reasons, finding her, getting as far as I had, and thirdly maintaining eye-contact the entire time.

It was something of a game I was playing, to see how long it would be before he admitted that he wanted to do this bit of a test right now, and it seemed to be going very well indeed. His eagerness was refreshing, even if it wasn't for the usual reasons people were usually enticed to be around me. "I would hate to seem like an unobliging employer so early- perhaps two days?" I offered, my grin and voice holding the slightest bit of a tease as I peeked up at him from beneath my lashes.

It took me a while, but it was clear to me now that she was haggling. She was crafty, again I wasn't certain if that was a good sign or not. There was also a hint of flirtation which I would not refuse. "Two days is much better ... and if it is the absolute soonest time you can fit me in to your schedule then I will accept. If you're sloughing me off, however I'll have no part in it."

The insinuation he made caused my eyes to narrow a bit in irritation though I smoothed it from my features as soon as I realized it had made itself known. Really, did I seem that childish? I liked to seem young, but not in that fashion. "I'm not quite sure what you mean, but if you want a earlier date there's always tomorrow. I thought you might want to take a day to think it over but if you'd rather not that's no trouble on my side." He was very handsome but I was by nature an impatient person and when I did try to put in the effort of having self-control I didn't like it being tossed back at me. Not that he'd know that, of course. My arms almost unconsciously crossed in front of me.

She was irritated at something, though I wasn't sure what. I decided not to press my luck any farther. "Tomorrow is fine. I really have nothing to think over, the thinking will be after the doing ... by doing I mean the trip ... of course." I smirked again but then turned serious. "I would like t apologize if I've offended in any way, milady."

His method of phrasing was charming and I had a feeling he was sliding an innuendo at me, though I didn't have to acknowledge it if I didn't choose. Still, where was the fun in that? "Most things are decided by doing in the end I'd say," I replied with another smile. "And Liselle is fine, milady sounds like an old title and I hope I'm not that advanced in years yet." A light tease, because we were probably about the same age. "Tomorrow then. What time?"

I nodded. "Very well then. I'm sorry, I'm use to calling people by their title until they become close friends.... But really then this is a good sign, right Liselle?" I grinned at the young lady before responding. "Well, since I was being rather pushy about the day I will leave the time up to you." I raised one brow slightly, curious now to see her every reaction.

"Then let's say about three or four o'clock," I said with a smile, the time really not mattering to me at all but I knew it probably sounded better than later at night when his mind may very well go to other matters. "Though I have to admit your persistence in this matter has actually been a good thing as far as I'm concerned. I tend to put things off a bit too much, so maybe you're just what I need to keep me on time."

I nodded, charming grin still on my face. "That sounds perfect, though it does get right on dinner time if we plan of being out more than a couple hours. But I'm sure there are ways to work around that, no?"

"Yes, I'd imagine there's ways around almost everything if one puts their mind to it," I replied in a pleasant tone, my smile still in place. "And is there any other planning that I'm forgetting? I think I've covered everything but I really hate to walk away and then realize that there's something unfinished." My smile curled up into a little but if a smirk at that and I glanced at him from beneath my lashes again.

"Well," I said quickly, "I need to know where you live so I can meet you, the rest I think we can figure out when we arrive, like what house we wanna try. I think we have enough of the basics though." I matched her smirk and raised by brows slightly.

"I actually don't live too far from here, and the house is the d'Aiglemort-Montblanc estate in this very Borough," I told him sedately, smiling a little wider as he returned my smirk. I wasn't exactly sure what it boded for the events to come but it certainly didn't seem like anything I should worry about. "I'll arrange for dinner and such, and considering the Night Court generally lasts all night an early one may be better than later."

I smiled. "Excellent, milay-- Liselle. Shall I let you get on with whatever business you were going about then?"

"Yes, I think that would be a good idea," I replied with a smile, offering him my hand again. At least I'd have something interesting to do tomorrow no matter how it turned out and my worst enemy was my own boredom. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Ansel, and I would wish you luck on the rest of your job search but that would mean I likely wouldn't be seeing you again so I must refrain."

I took her hand and kissed it. "The pleasure was mine," I sid smoothly, then chuckled. "I understand. Don't worry you've made a pretty good impression. I just hope I've done the same."

"I would say you have," I replied as he released my hand, my smile turned more into a smirk by this point and my eyes holding that hint of interest once again. "I'll be seeing you tomorrow then. Take care, Ansel." With that I took a step back and then started in the same direction I'd been headed in before. I was almost curious enough to cast a glance backward to see if he was watching me but I refrained. It was probably better I didn't know anyway, it would make the next day that much more interesting.
