"I must say," I said with a grin and a soft laugh, "that this has been some of the best conversation I have had in a very long time. You've no idea how this conversation has risen my spirits for the day," I said, grinning.

“I am very glad to hear that,” I said, smiling, “I have enjoyed myself quite a lot as well. I always enjoy finding someone to have a good conversation with.”

I laughed, "seems we agree on a lot of things," I mused. "You know, sometime you should come visit my shoppe, even if not to purchase, then just to take a look around. You seem the type who likes to learn new things, and if it were not an intrusion, I would love to see your work sometime."

“I would enjoy seeing your shop, thank you,” I said, smiling and nodding a little. “Once I have a project going I will be sure to tell you so that you can come see.”

I grinned. "Thank you, I greatly appreciate it. And you can stop by anytime you please. I am located in the Doorstep."

“I will do that,” I said, still smiling. I was interested to see her shop and the items she offered.

I nodded, smiling and content. "So what are your plans when you leave here today?"

“I am going to put in a proposal for a project,” I told her. “A remodeling of a home. You?”

"Probably head back to the shoppe," I mused, "go over some materials, and se what I can find. Maybe even start teh search for an apprentice or a master, or for both," I mused. "Might I ask, how are you planning on remodeling it?"

“The house was a little small, and the lord and lady would like to have more children, but want an addition completed first. The kitchen needs to be moved to the other side of the house and then an extra wing added,” I answered.

"My word, that is some work," I intoned, raising my brows. "When do they want all this done by?"

“It will take a year at least,” I said with a chuckle. “It’s a very big job.”

I raised my brows. "I do hope they are paying you a pretty penny,." I said with a grin.

"Do you know how many other designs you will be... well I suppose competing against?" I asked. "Or are you going into this blind without knowing who your competition is?"

“If I had been in the city longer, I’m sure I would know at least some of the other architects who are putting in proposals,” I answered. “As it is, I am going in rather blind. I did enough research to know I am offering a fair price and a realistic timeline. I hope that the owner will take my letters of recommendation as good proof of my skills.”

I smiled. "I truly hope that they do too," I said. She seemed earnest, and seemed to love her job, giving her all to it, and I hoped that she thrived so that perhaps one day she woul dbe able to enjoy herself and wha the City and its people had to offer. "And if they don't though I doubt they won't, you can always come visit me and I am sure I could think of a little something to chastise them for their ill choice," I teased with a chuckle, shaking my head.

“I may just take you up on that,” I said, laughing.
The server came by with our bills and I retrieved enough coins for mine, laying on the table next to the bill.
“It really has been lovely meeting you; I look forward to coming and seeing your shop.”

I was glad when she laughed at my jest, and I smiled. The waiter came by, and I picked up my bill, perusing it before I pulled some coin from the purse at my side and placed it atop the bill on teh table.
"Indeed this has been quite the nice day," I said with a warm smile "and I do look forward to seeing you again and hearing all about what happens with your bid."

"Very very true," I said with a knowing smile. I offered her my hand to shake. "Til we meet again then?"

“Until then,” I said, smiling as I shook her hand. Then, still smiling I took my leave.
I was very pleased to have met her, she was very interesting and I had rather enjoyed our time together.

With that we parted, going on our separate ways, and I could not help but grin as I went back to my shoppe. I certainly did look forward to hearing on her success.
