I shuddered, then nodded. "It was, a bit. And yes, it does, more than bit. It will take a few days to heal enough to lay on my back." I huffed, "I'll need to sleep on my stomach."

I laughed softly, though I guessed that that meant work, for her, right now, was out of the question.
"Well, I hope you havea few good books to keep you occupied," I teased, sipping my wine. "Or at leasst some friends who will try to entertain you. I would think myself right in believing that one of Eglantine House would find it a chore to have to sit still for so long."

I chuckled and leaned on the counter, cupping my wine glass as I looked up at his smiling face. "Eglantine House always has something going on. Music, dancing, poetry. I'm sure I will be far from bored."

"Good, good," I mused, watching her take ease on the counter, "you know what they say about idle hands and all," I teased with a wink. "So what might you do for the rest of the day today?" I asked, sipping again from my glass.

I shrugged, as lightly as I could. "I'm not too sure. There isn't a lot I can do." I thought about it for a moment more, then raised my nearly empty glass. "Perhaps I'll take advantage of my good friend, who owns a wine shop?"

I chuckled at her idea, taking the opened bottle and pouring some of it into her glass, filling it three quarters of the way. "Is it taking advantage when I do not mind in the least?" I asked with a grin and a wink.

I grinned back, already feeling better, now that I was drinking this fine wine, and spending soem time with a friend. "Well then, I'm glad you don't." I sipped from my refilled glass, then sighed, "Did I mention how glad I am that I came here?"

I chuckled, "mayhap once, but it doesn't do my ego bad to hear it every now and again," I teased. "I am glad you came. You know, I just came up with a potential proposition, if you are willing to hear it out," I said with a smile as I leaned over the bar.

I grinned, "Well then I'm glad I said it. And meant it." His next words intrigued me, and the way he smiled and leaned on the bar made me think that what he had to say would be fun, even before I'd heard it. So I leaned closer too, wine glass still in hand, "What?"

"Well, I do so much enjoy playing the lyre," I said with a grin creeping onto my face, mischeivous even though what we were about to discuss held no mischeif, it was something about having close confidence in a wine shop that made me feel this way, regardless of teh topic, "and I do so much love playing flamenco tunes," I continued, "and since you do love to dance, perhaps, I was thinkingonce a fortnight, or perhaps once a month, I can have a night where I play music while I have someone else watch the bar, and you can be contracted to dance for the evening while I play," I asked wtih a smile, wondering how she would take to that idea. "What do you think?"

I listened to his little speech, and couldn't help the grin I knew was slowly growing on my face. His idea was actually a very good one, and I didn't hesitate to tell him so. "I love that idea!" My back was temporarily forgotten under the excitement I felt upon hearing his proposal.
