I had originally thought ot take her to Cachette's, but when we passed Caisse de Pomme, the delicious smell of food made me change my mind. "I really do think so," I said as I looked at her and backed up, looking into the window. "This place is rather phenomenal too," I said with a smile, "would you like to go here instead? Sorry I am rather spontaneous... some say random, others say flighty," I said with a chuckle.

I glanced into the Caisse de Pomme. I had been here before, of course, though never with such a handsome companion. Looking up at Luc, I smiled. "I wouldn't say you're flighty. Spontaneous, perhaps, but that can be a good thing." I looked back at the window, then nodded, "This is a good place to eat, I agree."

I nodded with a smile. "Besides, I can always take you to Cachette another time," I said with a wink and a laugh before walking up to the cafe door and opening it for her with a whimsical bow. "After you, m'lady."

I laughed lightly, then inclined my head in his direction before moving through the door he held open for me, entering the Caisse.

I smiled at her, though I could not help my eyes from following her in, taking in her shape and body as I did. Luckily my eyes were back to hers before anything was noticed. I came up beside her, offering her my arm as the maitre'd regarded me.
"For two?" He asked with a smile. I nodded and, with a flourish on his part, he entered into the dining area with us to follow.

I felt his eyes on my back, but when I turned, he was looking me in the face. Still, I blushed slightly, and when the maitre'd showed us to a table, I leaned against his arm.

I smiled as her cheeks reddened and she took my arm, her body warm against it, and i forced myself not to think the thoughts that were entering my mind, and prayed that my eyes would not stray too much during the meal.
The maitre'd took us to a table in a cozy nook, not too out of the way, but providing us a measure of privacy. I smiled at him as he put the menus down and I pulled Rosanna's chair out for her.

I was just as aware of Luc as he semed to be of me, and I was glad when we were shown to a semi private table. When he pulled out my chair, I smiled and sat down, wondering if I shouldn't take him up on what I imagined to be an unspoken invitation.

As she sat I pushed her chair in for her with a smile, doing my level best to not look down as I stood above her, being a gentleman at all costs. I moved to sit in my seat and picked up a menu as I looked across the table to her. "I love it here," I said wtih a grin, "it always smells delectable."

I smiled back, and picked up my own menu. He was being so nice, and it was truly a pleasure to have such a handsome dinner companion. I couldn't help but think I had been missing out on quite a bit in these past years, and made a promise to myself that that would change very soon.

I looked over my menu but mostly I let my eyes wander abover the edge to look at Rosanna, watching her as she read, her blue eyes darting back and forth, reading. I let my mind wander, for just a moment, to ponder on how it would be to kiss her. But I reeled myself back in before I got too deep and too far ahead of myself. I let my eys move back to my menu as I searched for something to eat.
A slight waitress came to our table with a soft smile as she looked at the two of us. "Would you like something to drink?" she asked as she looked from me to Rosanna then back to me.
"A glass of red wine for me, please," I said with a smile, then looked to Rosanna. "What shall you be having?" I asked.

I felt his eyes on me, but pretended to concentrate on my menu. When the waitress cmae and asked if we wanted anything to drink I listened to what Luc ordered, then nodded, "I'll take the same." Looking across the table at him, I smiled and face him a flirty wink.

I smiled as she ordered the same and continued to look at her over the top of my menu, noticing how she looked at me now, winking playfully. I chuckled softly, turning my attention to the menu. "What would you say is your most favourite food?" I asked, my eyes staying on the scrolled words.

I smiled and looked back down at my menu, perusing the list of hors d'oeuvres and entrees. Glancing up one, I had to think for a moment before I could answer Luc's question. "I would have to say... lamb. Or just about anything with apples."

"Apples?" I said with a raised brow. "Why apples?"

I had to think about it for a moment, then shrugged. "I can't really say, I just like them." I smiled again, "Especially with caramel."

I smiled at her words. "Well I know they must have something like that for dessert on the menu," I mused. "I enjoy apples too. With brown sugar. Such a pleasing smell and taste," I grinned. "And all this talk of food, I am famished," I grinned as I looked at my menu. "I think I will have pasta," I murmured as I looked for the section on the menu.

"One can only hope." I grinned back, then looked down at my menu, again perusing the choices. Several of the items looked good, and I finally settled on a ham and cheese pastry. "The Feuilleté Comtois au Jambon looks good. And some apple fritters for desert."

"Hmm," I said with a smile, thinking to myself, "you know, that sounds pretty appetizing. I think I will have the same," I said with a grin as I folded my menu and placed it on the table

"I do wonder what else you will astonish me in," I said with a wry grin, "first fabric, now food, what else have you up your sleeve, my fair maiden?" I asked with a teasing grin.

I laughed at his flattery. Closing my menu and setting it down, I reached across and patted his hand. "I suppose you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?" I winked, "Surprises can be fun."

"Surprises," I said as I rested my free hand over the hand she used to pat mine, "are most always fun," I said with a crooked grin, removing my hand as we were brought our drinks by a young lad who could not stop catching small glimpses of Rosanna out the corner of his eye.
"What shall you be having today?" he asked, looking to her then, though I could see how his gaze faltered. He was shy, and obviously attracted to her, and it made me smile. I hoped she saw it too, then my words of how beautiful she was would seem as true as they honestly were.

I laughed and shook my head at Luc, then looked up in time to see a young man approach with out drinks. I smiled at him, and wondered a bit about his jumpiness. Glancing at Luc, then back at the waiter, it didn't dawn on me right away what was wrong. It too me a minute of thinking and watching the waiter watch me to figure it out. Then I laughed again and turned to Luc, tempted to stick my tongue out at him like a little girl.

I took her laugh and silence as my que to order for us both. I laughed softly as she looked at me, a look of lighthearted contempt, and I smiled wider as I looked to the waiter and placed our order. He nodded to me and then to Rosanna and scurried off. I laughed then, looking back to her. "I think you have a little admirer," I teased.

I held the laughter that threatened to bubble up again, and gave the shy waiter a nod, watching as he scurried off. Then I glanced back at Luc and shook my head as the laugh escaped. "Don't encourage him."

I smiled and laughed along with her. "Oh come now. What's wrong with a little light flirtation?" I asked, raising my brow. "The poor boy is probably going to be in the back, daydreaming about your beauty and wondering what in the world you are doing with the likes of me."

I laughed again, and slapped playfully at his hand, "Perhaps we should leave then, before I put all the staff out of commission with my beautiousness."

I laughed and shook my head, my forelocks brushing over my brows and tickling my lashes. "Ah my dear, I fear that no matter where we go we would have the same problem. We will just have to deal with it I suppose," I said melodraatically with an aristocratic aire as I waved my hand nonchalantly in the air and leaned back in my seat. Of course I could only pull off this farce so long before I started laughing at myself.

I found that his laughter was contagious. It didn't help that I had already been laughing, and I could only imagine that we were catching the attention of more than a few people. We must have appeared to be a regular pair of laughing hyenas, carrying on as we were. It felt good to laugh with someone, and when I could finally settle myself, I leaned forward and waited till he calmed anough that I could speak.
