"I was born and raised in the City of Elua. Any person who lives within a proximity of the city knows of its thirteen houses and what each speaks for it." I said and shrugged my shoulders. How close he was to guessing what I was did not scare me. Unless he ripped off my shirt to find the marque embed in my back, there was no way he would know for certain.
"Valerian and Mandrake are the most discreet of houses for the... talents they offer are ones that people are often ashamed of." I smirked a little, "But unless you long for the taste of the whip against your proud Aragonian flesh, Valerian House it is. You merely tell the Dowayne what it is you are seeking and she can arrange exactly what you need to... complete your experience. You'll have fun, Aragonian."

"Well," I said with a chuckle, "I am not a stranger to the Houses... and it would make sense those two be more discrete but... a Valerian?" I shook my head. "Would that I could please one. I am passionate, not cruel. I don't think I could bring a lash down on someone else for no reason, especially when I am not angry, just lustful. Have you visited that house yourself? I would not judge, do not get me wrong. I understand there is pleasure in everything. Not an Aragonian concecept, but definitely something the d'Angelines got right."

"Yes, well the lash isn't everything. I am sure they will find pleasure in the... how do you call it? Overwhelming passion and be quite pleased." I rose from my seat, gripping the bar to steady myself. It seemed Balta was almost done with cleaning and I wanted to be ready for when we were going to leave. "I frequent Valerian over all else," I said, laughing at the irony of this. How close the Aragonian was to getting everything, yet so far. "But I'm not cruel," I said with a wink.

I laughed as he raised to his feet unsteadily, but still with a measure of grace that seemed to accompany the d'Angeline name. I nodded. "Mayhap you have a bit of that overwhelming passion yourself? Twould be something to see whose was moreso," I said with a chuckle. So he frequented Valerian. Mayhap that was where he knew Naia from. Though he had said he had not known her in that way, the way I knew her in that sense anyways. "Maybe I ought to visit," I said with a smile. "I may have to beg you leave to borrow your hooded cloak," I chuckled, "or maybe just a recommendation on where to get one. Tis not the house I would be ashamed of visiting, and tis not that I am ashamed about wishing to try... other possibilities, but if that particularly were to get into the hands of someone powerful or spiteful," my mind wandered to that little blonde devil. My adepts that I had contracted taht night had kept their ears open and apparently there were vipers out that night, non-Shahrizai in nature, though she was accompanied by one, "it would be bad."

"Perhaps, though that may be something you'll never know, Aragonian," I said with a chuckle and smirked. It would be interesting indeed but not something that I wanted to delve into and in my drunken state, I wasn't sure how good I would be in keeping that up. I had a tendency to do the opposite of what I should do in such a state. "Well, if you are sure that you want to go through this, then I will lend you my cloak at the end of the night," I said with a smirk. "I understand your need for discretion. Even if you are not ashamed, there are still some who have their own reasons for not wanting others to know they are visiting Valerian House."
I pulled my cloak up over my head as if to punctuate my point.

I laughed with a nod. "I think I might have to borrow that cloak, should you not need it anymore," I said with a chuckle as he pulled the hood over his head. He was a charming man, very charming, and if it would not have been out of place with the current mood I'd have ventured a kiss with him, but I did not know how he would take it, and insult was something I did not want to deal him. He had been decent after the initial ruffling of furs and mutual sniffings. The thought made me chuckle again as I tossed the rag on the counter, reaching behind the bar to grab my keys to lock up. "Are you ready, cloaked one? Still feel your legs?"

"They're still under me, I believe," I said, though as I released the bar, I nearly fell forward and staggered a little, completely falling into the Aragonian. "Sorry," I grumbled, finding my legs using the table he was next to. "I'm... I think I'm good now, at the least." I had no qualms with him borrowing my cloak and it only occurred to me then how serious he might have been about visiting Valerian and seeking out a male adept. Hopefully Trinette just set him up with someone for his specific needs, someone very skilled who didn't need pain, as opposed to a line up. Blessed Elua. What trouble was I getting myself into now? "I'm ready," I affirmed with a drunken nod.

I chuckled and raised my brows as he fell into me. He was a strong man, I could feel the muscles in his arms and shoulders as I helped to right him a bit with a laugh. And he had a pleasant smell. I was quick with my senses. Shorter than I was, which I had noticed before already but really, twas not an issue. I had to hold myself back, stop myself form reaching down and kissing him. He smelled manly. But sweet. Nice. Masculine but not overtly so either. I cleared my throat, brushing down the front of his cloak cursorilly with a chuckle. "Well they're somewhere underneath you," I agreed. "Problem is you seem to have forgotten where," I laughed after giving him a gentle tap on the back of his shoulder. "Let's go then, carriage should be outside by now," I said, guiding him a bit towards the door, one hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you," I said, for the hand on my shoulder. I was stumbling along and without it, I was sure that I would have staggered and fallen once more and with Balta behind me, I did not think I would be so lucky to fall on someone again. I was grateful when I saw the carriage and pulled myself inside. I let out a sigh of relief.
"You have a lovely cafe, but please don't take offense if I refuse your offer of wine next time."

I locked the door before catching up with him, hand on his shoulder as he stepped into the carriage. "Understandable," I said as I looked inside at him. "So what will it be, your place first or mine?"

"Your place," I murmured softly, half sleeping, half drunk and only partially conscious. I did not want him to think I had been suggesting anything when I had suggested that he go to Valerian House. It was true, coupled with our partner, Mandrake, we were the most discreet, however, I did not want him to think that I had been lusting after him, that I was that weak. I would just have to avoid the Aragonian when he dropped by to see Trinette.

I nodded, relating the same to the carriage driver, letting him know that Sinclair would need to be dropped wherever he pleased afterwards. After our heavy flirting I wouldnt be surprised if he went to Valerian to visit his favourite. I smiled at the thought, returning to the carriage and climbing in, sitting across from him, though I leaned forward and closed the door, resting my elbows on my knees. "My place then wherever you please, within the City limits of course," I said with a laugh.

"I won't run you a high carriage bill. I have enough sense of debt as it is," I said, putting my arms behind my head as the carriage trotted along. I was practically lulled to sleep with the drink and the movement. This had been... pleasant. The Aragonian was nowhere near as bad as I had initially thought, then again, a lot of things were beginning to surprise me.

I laughed at his words an the way he leaned back, hands behind his head, arching his neck, strong but smooth. "This beaut?" I said patting the roof of it. "This darling is all mine," I said with a laugh, "and the driver as well. Do not worry though, he will not tall me where you were dropped off, lest it be the home of my mortal enemy," I said with a laugh. "Then its personal, otherwise," I shrugged, "tis not my business. I of all people understand the want for privacy."

"Impressive," I managed to mumble out though my eyes weren't even open and I doubted that I would even remember what this carriage would look like in the morning. I was glad for the privacy. It seemed we both agreed on that. "Well perhaps I will see you in Valerian House, then," I said with a smirk and removed my hooded cloak (with much difficulty for I nearly got trapped in my drunken stupor). My words were different than what I truly wanted. I had no intention of meeting Balta there.

I laughed heartilly as he removed is cloak. "One never knows. Odder things have happened, I am sure," I said with a wry smile. Too bad he wouldnt be removing anything else. I found myself curious of the man before me, not his intentions with Naia, no, not anymore. Moreso what he would be like unclothed and pressed to me. I groaned softly but hid it with the clearing of my throat. "I may have to visit after the return of the carriage," I said with a chuckle, letting a hand course through my locks.

"It's a tad late, but the doors are always open." Except for one day in the Winter, but it was autumn and I was sure he would sate his desires. I assured myself so readily with the fact that Trinette would not to a line up. No, Balta wasn't looking for a particular type of male, he just wanted a male from Valerian without a need for too much pain to be in pleasure. Along with that, Balta wasn't looking for a certain male whose name he did not know. At least, he didn't know that. He didn't know I was of Valerian House. I waited as the carriage moved along, quite content with my security even amidst my mistake.

"Excellent. After this night, this week... it would be a nice note to end the evening and start the morning on," I chuckled as we started to pull into the residential area. "Shouldn't be too long now for me. At least it will give me the time to freshen up after a long days work, waiting for the return of the carriage."

"Indeed." I was almost certain that just escaping what would be disastrous had put me in an even better mood than I had been with just the two goblets of wine and the pleasant buzz that I had. He was going to freshen up, head over to Valerian House, have someone be assigned to him and not know a thing. It was perfect.

I smiled. "It was nice meeting you, by the way Sinclair," I said in a bit of a murmur, my eyes finding his face in the darkness. "Thank you for the company."

"Thank you for the company... and the wine," I said and sat up so I could see him off. The ride back to Valerian was pleasant as well as fulfilling. I headed off to go to my room to rest. It would be a quiet evening and I was glad.
