My gaze stopped on a fire haired man sitting with a pale haired male companion. The sexual tension between them could be felt from here and it stirred my loins. My, my. It had been a long time since I’d been with two men.
My lips curled into a smile and I inclined my head to him.

And so I found myself in a very...interesting...situation. I returned his smile even as I leaned closer to Idaeus. "I believe we are being observed," I remarked casually. "Shall the two of us go say hello or wait for the morsel to come to us?"

Anger flaired in me when Landis was distracted. I was about to grab his head and bring his focus back where it belonged when I decided to look and see what the distraction was first. A Shahrizai man and walked in and sat down at the bar. I turned back toward Landis with curiosity at that sight. It seemed that he had a thing for them. I couldn't deny the same interest, but I found it more interesting that he had such a strong reaction to him.
I had turned my focus back on Landis, but it seemed an exchange went between the two of them. "Let him walk over here," I said. I was curious as to what he would do.

Giving in to temptation, I moved closer to the pair, settling in the empty seat next to them and then continuing to sip my brandy, not saying anything yet.

Elua's balls! Were the two of them just going to sit there all night 'til the cock crowed?
I stood and made my way to the end of the bar. "I require a drink," I said to the barkeep, keeping my voice low. "For that man there, and I want you to slip a little something in there that's hotter than the fires of Hell, am I clear?"
The man looked at me as if I'd gone mad, doubly so as he glanced at the man who now sat next to where Idaeus and I were sitting. But after a moment, he gave me what I could only describe as a knowing smile as he added black pepper to the glass. I wondered fleetingly if I had enough to pay for such a drink. Had I spent my last coin on drinks for myself?
The resulting drink was an unusual shade of red, probably owing to the strange sauce that was added. However, it was the colour of blood, undoubtedly spicy and probably even bitter as well.
I withdrew what was perhaps the last of the money that I had (without drawing on my inheritance) and paid the man. "I will take it over to him myself," I said simply, taking the glass in hand as I carefully made my way over to where the man sat, placing the glass in front of him with an audible thump.
"Here you are, my lord, something more suitable for a scion of Kushiel," I said with just a touch of sweetness as I reclaimed my seat and watched him, wondering if he would take the gesture as an insult or an invitation.

When Landis stood up to go and see the Bar Keep I turned my attention to our new guest. I wondered if he knew what house the pair of us hailed from. I wasn't about to advertise, just in case. I liked how things were moving along.
I greeted him with a single word as Landis came back and smacked the drink down on front of him. "Idaeus."

I watched as the redhead went and got a drink from the end of the bar. I couldn’t tell what it was, but I saw the barkeep put something in the drink. The man returned to me and set the drink down as the other one introduced himself.
“Gabriel,” I said, inclining my head to the pale haired one. Then I looked at the fiery one. “Thank you, but I am not in the habit of accepting dosed drinks from men who can’t even introduce themselves.” I took another sip of my brandy.

"Landis," I said tersely. "And 'tis harmless black pepper, but since my lord objects so heartily..." I took the drink away and poured a little into my glass, taking a sip and managing to smile despite the fact that it felt as if someone had just kicked me in the stomach. But the sensation was pleasant enough after a few moments.
"I just needed a distraction from the way my blood is rushing through my head," I explained, reaching over to lightly brush Idaeus's shoulder. "Won't you try some, Idaeus? We want the man to feel at ease, do we not?"

I looked up toward Landis and then toward the drink. I wasn't really in the mood for black pepper. I wasn't a child either, so I could man up and take a drink I suppose.
I poured a fraction of it into my empty glass and swallowed it with one pass. It burned, which is to be expected I suppose. I was glad that it wasn't threatening to bring up the rest of my drinks.
When I was done I shrugged as if it was no big deal. Just another drink.

I watched as they took sips of the peppered drink and then had to chuckle.
"And here I would have wagered you two were Mandrake not Valerian," I commented wryly.

"My apologies, I neglected to introduce myself properly," I said, returning his smile even though I was a tad annoyed at his assumption. "Landis d'Ames no Mandrake, and I do not presume to wager on the identity of my company, but I would assume you are a Shahrizai, either that, or a fool." I shrugged. "Were you perhaps expecting someone a little more forceful? I assure you, I can be quite the demon when I choose to be."

I first replied to Gabriel's comment by ordering another drink. I had a feeling this exchange would take longer than I had hoped. Landis was at least right in saying that the drink would slow down the blood rushing through someone's head.
I took a sip of the cheep rum and enjoyed the more welcomed burn before saying, "do not assume that all Mandrakes are the same. You can enjoy the pain and control of another without acting like a oaf. You can be strong toward pain without enjoying ir as well."
If either of these men managed to see me in the buff and close up they would know pain was something I had endured in large amounts. Something most of my patrons didnot since it was easy enough to hide one's back when you were in charge.
Then, without much thought and if it proved some point that I made, I took the rest of Landis' drink and mixed it to my own and continued to sip it. No need in it going to waste and if Gabriel wanted to actually drink the stuff he could ask for another.

"I have been in the company of enough Mandrakes to know they aren't all the same, just as all my family aren't the same," I replied, glancing from one of them to the other. I took another sip of my brandy then set the glass down as an urge took me.
"So, how would the two of you like to show me just what types of Mandrakes you are?"

An intriguing proposition. It was as if I was meeting a legendary figure that I'd only read about in books prior to the encounter. 'Twas true that not all members of House Shahrizai were alike, but one had never requested my services.
And I wouldn't be alone, Idaeus would be with me, assuming he accepted, of course. I felt a momentary rush of excitement as I realized that such an assignation would provide the necessary coin I needed to make my marque, provided I performed well, of course.
"It would be a pleasure," I purred, smiling. He was pleasant to look at, this Shahrizai, and I could only imagine the mayhem I would be able to cause with Idaeus by my side.

I was curious then just what sort of Mandrakes he had been with, but I pushed it aside and concentrated on the situation at hand. Though I had not finished the drink yet, the mix of Landis' red mess in my drink was making my buzz quite strong.
There was no question that Landis would be a different Mandrake than me in the bedroom and that combination would be an interesting sight.
I was not one to purr, instead I smiled, my usual cold bedroom demeaner showing through and said, "I accept as well."
I would probably think these things out more so, normally, but thinking seemed like to much trouble. The only thing running through my mind was heat. Heat from being surrounded by two strong men and heat from the nights drinks and events.

“Excellent, shall we to Mandrake then?” I asked after draining my glass.

"Indeed," I replied. I would need to fetch my whip, and I would most likely need to change my clothes.
This was not an ordinary assignation, after all.
I stood, hoping I didn't seem too eager, and strode towards the door, holding it open for my companions. "Well, my lord? Idaeus? Shall we be going?" In truth, I wanted to tend to certain bodily functions before we began, because Gabriel did not seem like the sort of man who would enjoy something almost too avant garde even for Mandrake House, and I was no savage.

I decided to leave what was left of the foul drink where it was and I stood to walk out the door Landis held.
I walked through and waited for my companions, glad that that there would soon be a change of environment.

Rising, I followed the pair. I knew certain members of my family would rather be hung than submit to two Mandrakes, but I thought them narrow minded. Pleasure could be found in so many, many places.
“My carriage is just there,” I said, heading to it and stepping up, waiting for them to join me.

I stepped into the carriage behind Gabriel and slid into the seat as gracefully as I could manage with a drink-addled head. Being in such close proximity to the men who I would soon bed send heat coursing through my body, sending a pleasant sensation to my loins.

I followed the two men and sat across from them in the carriage. I wanted to watch the twop of them before we reached Mandrake. I liked learning about my future bedroom partners when I was alotted the chance. I knew a small amount about Landis but practically nothing about Gabriel.
