"I'd like to," I told him with a smile and a brighter flush- I hoped I made a good impression on them and gave him no reason to reconsider his courting me. "Whenever you want I will make sure to be there. I want your family to like me."

"They will like you, I am sure," I said with a smile. "It is not possible to unlike you." It was a little bit of a lie, my sister was very hard to impress, but Lessa always seemed to worry and I didn't want a frown to mar that beautiful mouth. "I will speak with Alexei and Olga, and plan a time."

"I will be there," I promised him, squeezing his hand softly and then smiling widely as we reached our destination. "That is the Academy."
The building was lovely to me with it's expansive layout and the plaster-white walls inscribed with Caerdiccan phrases promoting learning and thought, the walls surrounding it only high enough to separate it from the rest of the complexes in its vicinity.

"You have taken classes here?" I asked as we approached the white building. "Do they have classes on D'Angeline? I will like very much to speak better. I sometimes have many things to say, but do not know the words."

"Not here, no- but at the Academy in Marsilikos," I replied eagerly, then looked concerned at his next statement. "Am I not teaching you quickly enough? Yes, they have classes here and they're supposed to be very good ones if that is your inclination."

"Oh no, you teach very good," I assured her. "But I want to become much better. Everything helps yes?" I smiled down at her.

Smiling again I nodded in understanding- he was always so nice and even if he wasn't learning everything he wanted to he wouldn't have wanted to tell me. "Of course, you're right," I ceded amicably. "I just like to teach you and learn in turn."

"But I am afraid that I am not very good teacher," I said as we walked into the Academy. There was writing on the walls, but it was nothing I recognized. I pointed up. "What does this say?"
