"Some one as beautiful as you..." I said returning my hand to her's. "I wouldn't think of anything else." The bair matron arrived with Aurianne's wine and my ale, I took a sip of my drink and then smiled to her.
"So, are you going to the L'Envers wedding?" I asked curiously. I had heard that in honor of the Lady Caraf's service to Namaah that adepts were having a free evening. I wondered what my chances where getting to spend time with her then.

I smiled at Denis as he spoke, though before I had a chance to answer the waitress stopped by with our drinks. My smile broadened slightly as I glanced up at her and caught her wink, and I settled back into my chair slightly, my fingers looping up around that of the lordling who held my hand.
"I am," I said pleasantly, my free hand toying with my wine glass without lifting it to drink. "It sounds beautiful. Are you going to be there?"

I nodded smiling. "Are you going with anyone?" I asked jumping to the point of the conversation.

"No one in particular, no." A few housemates and I had had plans to go together, but each of us hoped the others as well as themselves would gain patrons for the event rather than going solitary. I looked at him with a touch of curiousity, not wanting to assume, though hope bloomed in me that he was going to ask me to accompany him.

"Good," I said taking another sip of ale. "I'd like you to go with me." It was more a request then anything, but I never say anything without knowing that its true.

A smile came to my lips with his words, and I raised my glass of wine as I answered him. "I'd like that too," I said, taking a small, measured drink. Denis seemed fun and energetic amont other more desirable qualities, and I had no doubt that the night of the wedding would prove fun and enjoyable for being at his side.

"Good." I said taking another drink of my ale. "Would you like me to contract you or are you coming as my guest?" I asked letting my finger stroke over her hand.

Oh Elua, the decision.
"A guest, if that would please you," I said. Being contracted would ensure further work on my marque, though the idea of being his guest rather than his adept was far more attractive. My fingers shifted slightly in his hand, enjoying the touch of his skin on mine, my arm bending slightly to bring our wrists together as well.

"Excellent," I said smiling. "Then I'll contract you as an adept now, I mean this evening. I'd like to take you to dinner and show you a good time." I ran my hand slightly up her arm. "That seems fair to me."

Surprise lit across my face as he spoke, and for a moment I merely looked at him before gaining my wit. "You must be a mindreader," I said, my lips blooming into a full smile. "I think I'd love that."
The touch of his hand on my arm was inviting through its casualness, and I gave his hand a small, gentle squeeze. Elua knew of my desire already, though I kept it contained for now, biding my time as well as I could.

"Good." I repeated once more. "Where would you like to eat, its my treat of course. Though I should probably send your Dowayne a message."

"Well," I said, thinking. "We could eat here, or if you'd like to go elsewhere for something finer, Desir would be a wonderful place to visit."
A smile was on my mouth as I took a small drink of my wine. "Cateline would appreciate a message, I'm sure." It was thoughtful of him to let her know of my whereabouts, though if he wanted the assignation to take place at his place, wherever it may be, we would still need to go to Camellia to sign a contract.
One step at a time, though, and for now I smiled at him, my hand clasped comfortably with his.

I shook my head as I finished my sip of ale. "I'd like to take you some where special," I said thinking this was a fun place but not for an assignation. "And then to where I'm staying. I think you'll enjoy it. Plus, I'm really trying to impress you." I grinned and leaned over suddenly and kissed her neck before standing and lifting my drink. Taking the rest down in one long daught I looked at her.
"Come then, to Camellia."

My lips had parted to assure him of his impressions when his lips suddenly touched my neck; I touched it softly before letting my hand drop away as I stood, letting my body stray up near to his. "You already are impressing me," I said as I looked up to him, my smile warm and honest. I was curious of where he was staying if he thought it may impress; I assumed a townhome, so mayhap it were an intricately decorated on.
My wine was forgotten as I stepped out of his path and to his side, my bare arm brushing down along his cloth-covered one. "To Camellia then," I said with a smile, slipping my hand to take his arm, ready when he was.

I grinned and patted her tucked arm before tossing some coin onto the table and then smiling back at the lovely young thing on my arm.
"Shall we?" I said though not really waiting for her reply I moved us to the door and pushed it open allowing her to exit first before following after and letting the door close behind me.
