"Yes, I will have the same," I spoke kindly, "Thank you very much, kind sir." It was always a goal of mine to treat those below me in stature with as much respect and kindness that I would in turn like to recieve. It was only when the kindness wasn't reciprocated, that I whipped out words of aggression.
"My lord. My lady." He bobbed his head, and with a straight spine, walked away and through a swinging door.
As I heard the door continue swinging, I set my gaze back to the Prince. He hadn't ordered for me, and that got me wondering for a moment what exactly his main principles were. I was not irritated, I could not be. For that was his way of things, and I respected that as much as I hoped anyone would respect my principles. Many women would turn away in disgust, thinking Never in my life would a man do such a thing... I was slowly figuring out this young man. Very slowly. He rarely gave away anything behind that solid, strong mask. I may never figure him out completely... but that was what intrigued me most.
"Well, you enjoy reading and getting into trouble. How about horses? Horse-back riding is my most favorite way of spending time. It is a great reliever of stress, and an altogether fun experience. What do you think?" I grinned, hoping to get more out of him.

"I've never had much luck with animals, though when I was in the country I went riding somewhat frequently. I'm not the best rider, but it is an excuse to get out and about. Here in the City though it just seems foolish to take out a horse simply to walk the streets, and I'm not sure my sister won't throw a fit if I leave the City walls. For now, I'm content with exploring, and once that pales, things should have settled down," I said wryly.

Smiling, I replied, "It being a favored joy, sometimes I forget that it is not everyone's choice of enjoyment." I paused a moment, thinking back on the conversation I had had with Theodor. "I would like your opinion on an idea I've been working on. I know that many nobles throw fetes all throughout the year. I also know of the faires that are held during the summer season. I had an idea to host a race, along with a horse faire, where a horse market could form along the streets featuring many of the best pedigrees and breeds. Everyone in the city would be invited to race and sell. I have never met a Tsingani before, although I've heard much about them. I hear they sell some of the best breeds in Terre d'Ange. Then, that night of the faire, I would hold of fete at my place of residence. How does it sound? I am going to bring up the idea with her Majesty, when we have tea together tomorrow. Right now, I am just trying to find out if it would be of interest to anyone else." I smiled, excitement coursing through me.

"Well, I said slowly, not knowing exactly what to think of the idea as the waiter returned with the teacups and set them before us, "It sounds like a lot of money and effort for something you're not sure of. Still, the worst that can happen is you bring it up to Sabrina and she says no."
Picking up my teacup I took a sip of the warm liquid and then returned the cup to its saucer.

I picked the teacup up daintily, right after it had been placed in front of me. Sipping slowly, I closed my eyes, savoring the warmth of the liquid. It had been steeped to perfection. Just strong enough so that it didn't need any sugar or cream modifications. I let the warmth of the tea linger a moment before swallowing, heating my mouth. Opening my eyes, I saw the Prince sit quietly before me, finished speaking. I must have been entranced by the tea for a moment too long. Flushing with embarassment, I set the teacup down, and folded my hands on the table.
"It is not that I am unsure, for I would love to host such a thing. Money would not be an issue, but Her Majesty, Princess Sabrina, will be the judge." I took another quick sip of my tea. Holding the cup in my hands, to warm them, I decided to change the subject. "But, let us speak of a Midwinter Masque some more, for it is soon upon us. Do you think it would be unusual for a noblewoman to attend the Masque without someone's company?"

"No more unusual for a woman to attend Midwinter along than any other event," I said as I swallowed and then took another sip. "It isn't considered wonderful, but no one is usually snubbed for it either."

"What would you suggest then?" I asked, raising a brow in question.

I shrugged, indifferent to whatever polite society had to say on the subject. "Go alone- it will show independance and strength."
Looking out the window I noticed that the wind had begun the hour. Smiling, I stood and bowed. "I'm sorry to leave so abruptly, but it looks like the time has just flown by. Please excuse me, and have fun at the meeting with my sister tomorrow."

"Alright. Thank you for keeping me company on this cold day." I quickly set my teacup down, and stood, giving a polite curtsy. Straightening myself from the feminine bow, I looked up at the Prince, "I hope to see you at Midwinter. I will take your suggestion into deep consideration." I grinned, and sat back down to watch him leave.
