Walking along with Aurianne on my arm I felt more than a little bit of my often tense nature loosen. In fact we no doubt made a striking pair with our ideals of beauty. Not more than a few looks being cast in our direction as we began looking over the outlying shops. The warm sun on my face and some fresh air only making things all the more pleasant as I looked to her with an easy smile. "So do you have anything in particular in mind or are we just browsing?"

"I don't know," I said, my mood light and happy now that we were out and strolling in the fresh air. "It is springtime, and a wedding ontop of that... Something light colored and airy I think. Outside of that I don't know." I gave him a rueful smile, my gaze going up to his as we walked. "How about you? Do you know what you want to wear?"

I held her gaze with my own warm coco colored eyes and grinned my stark white teeth perfectly offset against my skin. "No clue, why do you think I brought you aside from the fact you are beautiful and look good on my arm?" A mild tease was in my town the sort one uses when joking but still being more or less serious. "Though I think I enjoy the beautiful part the best."

I laughed at his jest, letting myself tuck close to his side in a physically teasing way before relaxing to a normal distance again. "Eddie, you'd look good with a monkey on your arm, so it can't be anything to do with that."
I tightened my grasp on his arm ever so slightly as we walked, looking from shoppe to shoppe. "I'd suggest something simple and elegant, though not overly done."

I reached over with my free hand and patted hers before removing mine giving her a little bump with my hip when she was closer. "Well Auri you are much more attractive than a monkey so it makes us both look better."
Then turning my steps to one of the more modest yet inviting shops I added "Yes, I think that will do. Too many try too hard when it comes to attire among other things"

I nodded my agreement as we moved into the shoppe, thankful from the start that it were well lit. "Did you have a particular color in mind?" I asked, glancing up at him before looking around the room, taking stock in what they had to offer.

"For you or me?" I looked at her and released her arm. "For you I am thinking something in light blue would be the picture of perfection with your complexion. I am not so sure what would suit me."

"A pale green, perhaps?" I offered, releasing his arm to move to a rack of shirts. "Mayhap a soft yellow, nothing too bright. For me though, I wore blue to the coronation fete." I glanced up at him with a rueful smile, my fingers pausing on the shirts. "Violet, mayhap, or lavender... I'm not sure."

"You think yellow would work with my complexion?" I moved to the rack as well and started looking through the men's shirts. "And I think lavender then for you." I tilted my head and smiled. "Though the long face makes me wonder what went wrong at the coronation for you."

"I think you could make yellow work," I said with a smile, letting my gaze fall back to the shirts as I sifted through them. "Nothing went wrong at the Coronation," I replied, thinking back to it. "I met a few very nice people and went home with a gentleman. It was lovely; a shame you couldn't have been there though. What did you end up doing?"

"I stayed home and read." I shrugged my broad shoulders dismissively and fell quiet as I browsed the shirts. "Suppose I will have to get what ever I choose altered to fit me. If they fit in the shoulders they always end up hanging on me about like a formal dress."

His comparison brought a giggle from me before I could stop it; a hand clasped over my mouth as a blush rose in my cheeks, though my shoulders and chest shook still with a repressed chuckle. "I'm sure you could make it work, Eddie," I said warmly, trying to keep the amusement from my mouth. "Just make sure it hugs your hips - you have a nice set to flaunt."

I calmly walked past her and “accidentally” bushed her behind. “You do not have a bad one yourself.” Then I started perusing the breeches. “I will have to have it tailored as my upper is wider than my lower is properly long. It is nice to look at I have been told but fitting properly is a real issue.” Then changing the subject a bit I asked. “Black in the pants to go with the yellow?”

The brush along my rear caught me off guard; I gasped, my laughter successfully shaken off with his bold move. "Thank you," I said in slight amusement as I watched him walk away to a rack of pants, his question coming back to me as he browsed. "Black would look good. Or grey, if you wanted something softer."
I turned and made my way over to the racks holding dresses, flipping through them with a critical eye. I'd never been to a wedding before and I was excited about this one; I wanted to look my best. Fingering a soft lavender dress, I caught the very inside of my lip between my teeth, trying to picture how it would fit me.

"When one is wearing yellow I suspect soft is not the obvious affect. I will go with black." Having already made a mental note on my selections I moved back and peered over Aurianne's shoulder. "And I think that one is lovely by the by."

"Depends on how vibrant the yellow is," I said with a small smile that grew as he came up behind me, looking over my shoulder. "Shall I try it on then?" I asked teasingly, picking it off the rack and turning to face him, holding it up to myself. "Model it a bit, do some twists and turns for you?"

I smiled a bit and stepped back so as not to be invading her space. "I would like that and it is the least you can do considering after you are done I have to go get measured and I am sure my discomfort will give you no end of amusement."

My cheeks colored a little, though I gave him a completely innocent smile nonetheless as I turned back to the racks, peeking back at him. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Edwyn."
My voice was angelic, though too much so, and I felt my smile itching to grow into more. A few more dresses were chosen and I slipped past him, letting my arm draw along the length of his waist as I moved to the changing rooms. "I'll be right back."

I watched her and smiled. "You know the fellow with the tape measure poking and prodding at my various parts?" I could not help but let out a small little shiver when she touched me in passing as I watched her head toward the changing rooms. "I will be waiting." I exicuted a perfect bow to her fleeting form.
I then turned my attention to selecting several shirts of yellow and breeches of black that I would have to have altered. But I planned on having Auri help me narrow tings down on issues such as cut and material.

I grinned inwardly to myself with Edwyns teasing voice on the seamstress' duties as I stepped into the changing rooms, selecting one by random and shutting the door behind me. I slipped my dress off and hung it carefully on a spare hanger so as to keep wrinkles from gathering in the materials before turning to the dresses I'd chosen, running my fingers along the material, testing it against my bare skin as it brushed up against me.
The lavender one was chosen first and I unhooked it before donning it, my arms twisting behind me to fasten up the row of buttons as I stepped out of the dressing room. I glanced up in search of Edwyn, though rather moving towards him I walked to the three-sided mirror, my fingers working still on the last of the buttons.

Hearing Auri leave the dressing room I looked up and watched her as she fussed with the dress while looking at the mirror. Having been trained all my life for perfect social grace I did the right thing and waited until she was properly pleased with her appearance.

After a moment I had the buttons finished and the dress smoothed out over my form; it hugged my waist and dropped like a slender bell around my ankles, though the top of it was held with small straps that would make the most of any breezes that might flow through. Smiling, I turned towards Edwyn, catching his eye discretely.
"What do you think?" I asked, raising my arms slightly and giving a teasing twirl.

I returned her gaze and stepped closer tilting my head with a small grin on my lips. "Little more to the left please."

With an amused smile, I tilted my body, my arms rising a little more. "Like that?" I asked, watching as he walked closer.

I noded taking in how the material fit her curves. "Yes, now the other direction."

My lips quirked up a bit more as I turned, repeating my actions for his critical eye. Remaining silent, I looked up at him inquisitively, the edging of a flirtatious look lining my face.

My shoulder dropped slightly under the touch of his hand, rolling back slightly into it. "I like it," I said softly, if truthfully as I glanced back at him. "I'll try the other two on, of course, but I don't know if they'd come close to this one."
